DownWind replied to Chrissay's topic in Events & Places to Jump
I can't wait to get back out to Tecumseh this weekend, it has been a long two weeks of no jumping down here in Mexico. See you all on Saturday. -
How Many Hrs./Wk Do You Work (and what's your position)
DownWind replied to pBASEtobe's topic in The Bonfire
I am a corporate finance manager for a manufacturing company and normally work about 50 hours a week with spikes up to the 60 - 70 range depending on time of month and year. 40 hour weeks are very rare. -
Skydive Tecumseh is definitely my home DZ. I learned there through the AFF program and just recently received my coach rating there. It is my home away from home on the weekends. I will really miss the dropzone and all my friends there when I move to Mexico in July. It is fun to jump elsewhere, but I really enjoy my weekends in Tecumseh.

Paracaidismo Celaya in Guanajuato, Mexico
DownWind replied to DownWind's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Does anyone have any information on the dropzone Paracaidismo Celaya in Guanajuato, Mexico? The profile in the dropzone database here on DZ.com lists it as a C-182 dropzone. I have sent an e-mail and it did not bounce, but I did not receive a reply. I am going to be moving down to Guanajuato in the area of Leon/Silao and would love to to be able to jump without having to travel out of the state. Any information on this dropzone would be much appreciated. -
3.03 pounds per inch here. Edited because my math sucked.

Skydive Tecumeh is where I learned to jump through the AFF program back in 2003. It has been my home dropzone since. The staff and jumpers are all very friendly and helpful. I would suggest that anyone in the area who skydives or is interested in learning should make it a point to visit Skydive Tecumseh.

He mentioned in an interview after the race that he woudl get back into ofroad mororcycle riding and wanted to learn to kite board. There are also rumors flying around about him getting into politics. He did a phenomoenal job at winning 7 Tours de France. I personnally believe if he was not retiring that he would have a shot at winning 8.

Skydive Tecumseh 2nd Annual 4-Way RW (FS) Scrambles.
DownWind replied to martymac11's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Pete, Glad you weren't hurt worse, sounds like a really close call. You should still stop out at the DZ to hang out. Marty, Count me in for the scrambles. We may have been in last place last year, but I had a great time. -
My bad, guess I am not up to date on my reading.

Thanks Sunshine. There is always a ray of light. I may actually be a little bit more productive now.
