  1. I managed to do it! For anyone interested I succeeded with these steps: - Create your clip - Download and install multiAVCHD v4.1 - Import your clip to multiAVCHD - In Author-tab select correct TV system - Press Start - Select Sony HDR-SR11 from the pull-down menu - Press the 1080p@50fps-button (or maybe the 60fps for the NTCS-people) - Connect your memorystick to the PC - Copy the following files and folders from the BDMV-directory under multiAVCHD output directory to the memorystick AVCHD/BDMV-directory: -- CLIPINF -- PLAYLIST -- STREAM -- INDEX.BDM -- MOVIEOBJ.BDM - insert the memorycard back to camera and switch on On the camera following message is shown: Inconsistencies found in Image Database File. Cannot record or play HD movies. Do you want to repair the Image Database File? EST. PROCESS TIME: 8s - press YES And voilà - the clip is visible in the camera. - Petri
  2. Darn, did a bit browsing and was wishing that using for example MultiAVHCD (http://multiavchd.deanbg.com/) it would be possible to create the proper files in proper file structure (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AVCHD#Overview). Of course also index.bdm manipulation might have been needed. Oh well... - Petri
  3. I'd like to create a short video clip and put it on a memory card so that when shooting (tandem) material and creating a playlist on the camcorder, the clip could be added to the playlist when creating a DVD with Sony DVD burner. What is the correct format for such clip and do I need to create any extra files? The memory stick filesystem shows the recorded clips themselves located in AVHCD->BDMV->STREAM -directory but there also seems to be .CPI files for each clip in AVHCD->BDMV->CLIPINF I have Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0 available. - Petri
  4. Does anyone have more detailed knowledge on what the conversion lens -setting really does? The handbook just states When using a conversion lens (sold separately), use this function to record using the optimum compensation for camera shake and focus for each lens. So does this setting only apply if steadyshot and/or autofocus settings are active? - Petri
  5. True, the 2 camera setup makes things a bit more challenging. What I'd really love is a helmet as a some kind of Frankenstein-combination having camera platform from Bonehead Mantle, Sky Systems Oxygn flip-up visor and jaw-area design from Sky Systems Oxygn/Vapor (my personal opinion is that the Mantle is butt-ugly. It would allow 2 camera setup and still have space for the visor to open when needed. Any helmet company out there want to start building one? The sky latch of my current setup seems to be holding the helmet in place pretty good so one opetion would of course be to build one from the Oxygn but I lack competence the in that :(. - Petri
  6. BZZZ, wrong answer. But you have to make one yourself: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3291237;search_string=realpet;#3291237 - Petri
  7. The pics. As can be seen from the frontview and mount_plate, the Flatlock helmet adaptor is not for this sized helment. The idea behind this is that I can finetune the camera tilt. The rectangle in the visor is the camera field of view at approx 1.2 meters (~4 feet). In the (out-of-focus) backview, the Cameye setup can be seen. When not jumping with the camera, I just pull the connector back inside the helmet. The hole is large enough to get the connector through. As the optics are not in the middle of the camera (sideways), the mount setup is a bit to the right in order to have the optics in the centre line of the helmet. - Petri
  8. I have Factory Diver setup with HC7. Camera mounted on top with Cookie Flatlock http://www.cookiecomposites.com/shop/Accessories/25/index.htm and Blackbox http://www.cookiecomposites.com/shop/blackbox/47/index.htm I try to remember to grab some pictures of it when I get home... - Petri
  9. Does anyone have details what the 'Wide Conversion Lens' option does when enabled? The user's guide text does not really help... I have HC7 with Liquid 5 x0.45 wide angle lens from Cookie Composites. - Petri
  10. *shiver* Anything (extra) connected from the main canopy setup to helmet/rig/jumpsuit sounds very much like a braindead idea. Cutaway.. - Petri
