I had a Motorola V-700 before i bought the Blackberry, it had the same capabilities. It actually had two extra features the Blackberry doesn't, a digital camera and a movie camera, the two things i am dissatisfied with. Other than that, we've had Verizon services for years and no troubles as of yet. Our home phone service is Verizon as well, our BroadBand is Verizon as well. I have my Blackberry right next to me and it will not only run my bluetooth reciever but log onto verizon - msn - yahoo - my e-mail - browser, well you get the drift i'm sure. I was on a jump run once years ago at SDSL, we were at altitude and there was a 6 way RW group that refused to exit the aircraft because of cloud cover. (There were some holes) I was incensed, the pilot did another run, and they still refused to exit the aircraft, i did something that day i swore i would never do again i exited the jumpship out of order I got an earfull when i got down to the ground. Is the exit order at the DZ not largest to smallest? In any event pushing someone out of an aircraft is unsafe under any condition. What if someone's hacky would've caught on something and dumped the main right there? I really don't think there were just too many instances where they had police officers confiscating weapons from law abiding CCL carrying individuals. Most of the weapons they confiscated were in homes that were abondened during the hurricane, and were left unnatended by the owners. Let's face it with all of the mayhem and chaos it was either gather the loose weapons up or arm the idiots. They didn't have time to make that call, everything was happening way too fast. I'm certainly not in agreement with confiscating legal weapons in the possession of law abiding individuals. That's the way i feel about it. Really, i went easy on him. It's been over a year. He was given the chance to do just that, he chose not to. He advertised the canopy as "In perfect condition" and "AIRWORTHY" Damned thing had two holes in the top skin (I have pics) Hardly airworthy and in perfect condition. Again, bottom line, he "took me" for my $$$. Foul language or no, business is business. One skydiver shouldn't be trying to "get over" on another skydiver. I don't see the honorable DZO Pirotti here defending his position either, that speaks volumes. I guess if i was a theif and a liar, i wouldn't wan't to defend that position either.
