Let's back up a bit and discuss a few items that leads up to the proverbial shoe throwing incident. This incident is proof positive that the Arab Muslim people in Iraq never-ever wanted our help ridding themselves of Sadaam Hussien. We severly underestimated our adversaries before the invasion. We were ill equipped, our Humvees not protected, our helicopters not mechanically equipped to fly 50' AGL because of the excess sand intake. On the "March To Baghdad" from the Kuwaiti border we didn't plan well enough for climate and fuel reserves to run our machines. We blew Iraq into smithereens, killing counless numbers of innocent women, and children. That was wrong. I could go on and on about the misdeeds of our troops in this war, but i will not because i have one son still there, and one just getting out. My son will never be the same man ever again. He wasn't at all prepared for the close combat killings he was involved in. His detail from Fort Hood is the detail responsable for pulling Sadaam out of his hidey hole. 7th Cav. I just might actually have some experience in this area as well. I say again, which your obviously are too inept to see for yourself, i WAS NOT giving advice. All i was doing is sharing what worked for me. I didn't say it would work for everybody. The TLS 1.0 wasn't checked before i got the virus. I keep up with things like that. In either event i unchecked the TLS 1.0 restarted my system and it worked fine. Running Windows Defender was improvised after the fact. I observed that it caught and quarintened and i deleted it. In the future, if you disagree with something i say, or do i would apprecite it if you didn't speak to me in a condescending fasion i would appreciate it very much. Second jump after completion of my AFP program, and i was cleared to jump unsupervised. I know of one individual that never, ever screwed up a landing and i know i saw him make over 300 skydives before he moved away. He flew a VX 65 at a 3.5:1 W.L. I hate to break it to you like this, but i guess i'm suicidal. I had a PC in tow (24" Jim Cazar PC W/ Cobalt 170^2, Javelin J-4) pulled on the bridal and unseated the closing pin. The only thing that happened to me is the risers bitch slapped me at line stretch, cut my face and busted my nose. I was a bloody mess when i got down. Cleaned up and got packed went right back to jumping. Nothing hurt but my pride when everybody asks me what happened to my face. P.S. This was a 3,500 AGL deployment. Many moons ago. I know of several other individuals who have employed this exact teqnique, i didn't make it up all by myself, i was told how to do it from an upjumper, not an instructor. Why do you think this is Sparky? I think the answer lies within a training program. Teach, Test and perform quarterly. The bad thing about canopies is anyone can buy a cross braced elipitical canopy. It would seem to me that experienced SkyDivers would be a little more concious about selling their canopies just so they can down size even further. What this does is endanger two SkyDivers, the one who sells the canopy to someone who is not competant to fly it, in addition to taking the risks of putting them selves in harms way by down sizing them selves. I think it would be a good idea if DZO's & S&TA's step up and see to it that all of our low time jumpers are not flying too high of a W.L. I've seen it and so have you. I've tried talking to a few of these SkyDivers but they didn't listen. Now 3 SkyDivers i was very close to aren't with us anymore. I've never forgotten them. Install Flash Drive with the desired image. Go to "My Computer" open the media you have the file on, open it, highlight it with your cursor. Right click and Copy. Minimize the folder. From there go to your destination folder, or what ever you intend to work on it at. Right click and Paste, Viola! You can also open the file you wish to work with and do a "Save As" then choose your destination and save it like that as well.
