I have about 2500 hrs in Dauphin's and they say the service ceiling on them is 18,000 feet. Those wacky French guys and their whimsical sense of humor. (No offense Remi.) Tried to do my first video, and almost made it through. I did the capture and the edit all right and then went to the make movie module. It appeared to reload the tape as I edit'ed in preview quality. That went successfully, and then Studio did the rendering thing a couple of times. Finished up with that and then said, "You project is now ready for output. Click the play button on the player window to output your video to tape". When I do that, the play arrow depresses, turns into the two square icon, then, absolutely nothing happens. I have my PC-101 hooked up with a firewire. I can view and preview in Studio, so that should be good. The computer is a SONY VAIO, Pentium 4, 1.5GHz, 256MB of RAM. Any body got any hints? Shit happens. And it usually happens because of physics.

Hope you don't mind a few questions: Assuming the direction of flight is twelve o'clock, what way was the train facing? What was your position in the train, i.e. first, last, middle? What, exactly, did it catch on? What alerted you to being hung-up? Is there a safer or less safe way to organize a train out of a tail gate aircraft? Pinnacle Studio 8. Reason: It seemed to have a good rap here, I had zero knowledge about this stuff and trusted you guys, I picked it up on Ebay for $20 less than Amazon was selling it. I find it very easy to use, but I am not using it professionally. Just some fun video's...thus far. Appreciate all I have learned from this forum. Please keep talking and responding. Add to that the fact the I'm left-handed and you have a true minority. I assume a lot of that "unbearable persecution" comes in the form of, "pick that up", "you didn't put the seat down, again", "is that what you're wearing to my cousin's wedding?", and "take the garbage out". Went to the Letterman show the night before Halloween 1997 and they had stupid human trix. Some guy snorted an egg. When asked how he learned to do that, he mentioned a college frat party and alcohol. Go figure. I picked a guy up off a shrimp boat that had been pulled into the winch by his unit.
