Just gonna stick with the 120, huh? Welcome home. We missed you. Is it hot in here, or am I crazy? - Charles Manson flyhi

Very envious. We did an eight point four-way loaded with excessive post-jump recriminations. Going somewhere different next week. flyhi

Got the Jan 02 Parachutist and checked out the pic on Page 71 of Dove (I think). Very Nice. Checked out the Letters to the Editor, and what do I see? A letter from our very own Lisa "skybytch" Briggs. And the most important part...other than some Michnerian novel from Mr John Rich of Houston TX, who is trying to save my life by learning from his mistakes (like that's going to happen!), her's was the longest. Well done Lisa!! Is it true that the ultra-conservative, right wing, PC faction of the ACLU wants to change the name of Hemet, CA to Peoplemet CA? Just something of which I have heard talk. Good info for all, but couldn't you have at least once said something like, "Loading a canopy at 1.0:1 for beginners is a good idea and DZ.com rocks."? All kidding aside, nice letter and congrats. As they say, Publish or perish. Second point: There is a pic on page 45 with the photgraphy credit given to "Laci Linetwist". Are they yanking me? Who are the people in the picture, Betty Baglock and Marty Malfunction. If my name is Linetwist, I don't I am going to be skydiving. Maybe bowling or something. Sorry if this is rambling and incoherent, but I just had three mochaccino because tomorrow is the expiration date on the milk in my refrigerator. And that makes sense to me. I have a bunch of Dead Presidents that say the JAX Jaguars will need a new coach soon. Any takers? flyhi

Just a shot here, but was alcohol involved? flyhi

Why always Latin American? Why not Canadian? Most of them speak English, enjoy good beer, and just think of the killer hockey team your "employees" could start. I'm the Idea Guy. flyhi

Nice survey. Great site. flyhi

Did anyone check out the prices? $78K for a date? Are you mental? Let's put that in real terms: Enough money to buy a Boxster and 4 or 5 rigs...and the requisite cases of beer! Is there anyone who can't get a girl for that kind of bread? flyhi

You wouldn't happen to be from the Philippines, would you? flyhi

Have you never been to California? The Cal State EPA has a HAZMAT emergency plan which covers Silicon or Saline spills. flyhi

Two mals and no chops. Broke a steering line on opening. Landed rear risers. No problem now, but a little dicey with 40 jumps. Had 4 cells of the, for lack of the technically correct term, ass end of my Sabre 190 rip out on me on deployment. Checked the 4 S's and decided to ride it down. Should have chopped. Had no idea how bad it could have gotten. Have had several line twists on a Stilletto. I attribute the fact that I didn't have to chop to tieing the 3 Rings together while I pack. No dissymetry so no spinning. Also have heard if the last stow is too close to the bag, the bag will hit the reserve container on deployment, spin, and cause line twists. Quien sabe? flyhi

Are you talking Imperial Beach or Miramar? I think they were both USN Bases at one time. Although I believe Miramar is USMC now. Who can keep up with BRAC; our peace dividend. Love the thought of anywhere in Nevada. They wouldn't even notice us there. Just another bunch of crazies. With beer. Lots and lots of beer. And some of the best looking wormen around. After the lots and lots of beer that is. flyhi

Heard a story that the year they went to a no show exit, one team decided their first five guys to "show" would be the floaters and the team gave up a second and a half while they climbed out to launch a chunk. No matter what rules you come up with, someone will pervert them. That team ended up in the zone and finished third, I think. flyhi

Just trying to be diverse and accepting of those from the Northwest. It's a New Year's resolution. A big batch of Spotted Owl soup will feed a lot of homeless people. flyhi

Apparently if you're not from the South, you can't play football this year. Other than Oregon, that is. Congrats to the Tigers, and I'm betting on the Gators and Canes. flyhi

Once you feel comfortable with these, throw in a 2-way star between compressed accordions. So the sequence is star, right-hand compressed acc, left 270 degree turn to star, left-hand compressed accordion, right 270 degree turn to star. Headswitches, keys, and the potential to go low; this dive has it all. Enjoy. flyhi
