  1. Here's our puppy. His name is Newton and we just picked him up yesterday. He's an 8 week old labradoodle.
  2. Regarding the recent PM you sent me: Since you disabled PM right after you sent your reply to me, I'm forced to post here. I am very concerned about safety and would love the opportunity to discuss with you face to face any issues that you may have. I don't think you are solving anything by making anonymous posts on dropzone.com. I think you would get much more done by contributing to the open discussions that happen at our DZ every month in the form of board meetings and club meetings. Feel free to e-mail me, call me or grab me at the club. But then again, doing any of those things would mean I would then know who you are, and you have shown time and time again that you have no desire to let that happen. Should you change your mind, the offer stands.
  3. Now this one is just flat out wrong. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/asshunter.shtml
  4. Look here. http://www.rockstargames.com/libertycitystories/gta_lcs.html
  5. You don't need to roll the nose. It opens soft enough as is. I've put 500 jumps on Sabre 2's and have had consistently soft openings. I had one slammer that I think was caused by the slider not being pulled out far enough or not being against the stops.
  6. Why can't you just design your rocket to slow the descent rate to a survivable speed? That would be cool! We could use jetpacks instead of parachutes. Get on it! I'll order the first one. I can't wait for the opportunity to jump out of an airplane with 500 lbs. of metal and explosives on my back.
  7. Booties are going to help in a huge way. I personally have swoop cords in my RW suit and don't have problems with most RW jumps. I have a little more difficuly docking late on bigger ways when they start to get floaty. It's a lot harder to fly when you are that streched out. Booties may make the difference.
  8. When you bring your hands even with your shoulders, are they right in front of you or are they streched out to the side?
  9. I just found this thread that discusses Brian's "Signature Series." http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1622680 I think this is where I got the impression that the "Signature Series" was still manufactured by PD and then modded by Brian. After giving the thread a second look, it specifically states that they are built by Brian. I stand corrected.
  10. It was my impression that "signature series" canopies are manufactured by PD and then Brian mods them somehow. Although, I just looked at Big Air Sportz website and couldn't find any info on "signature series" for some reason.
  11. This doesn't really make sense. According to a conversation I had with Brian at SDC's Spring Expo, all of his canopy's are manufactured by PD anyway.
  12. That's what I was thinking. I think our team could learn something from them. It shouldn't be only about how many points you turn.
  13. You guys are doing awesome. It's so cool to see you guy's having so much fun. My favorite is the jump where Hoochie falls through your burble and you all geek the camera for the rest of the jump. That was a classic! Sorry we missed you guys this past weekend at SDC. We'll see you at Hinkley.
  14. Will the Pitts be available to jump out of, or is it just for rides?

    eBay

Every time you get positive feedback your feedback score goes up by one. So a feedback score of 500 would mean that person has had 500 transactions with positive feedback.

    eBay

It's a great place to find things if you can't find them anywhere else, but not necessarily for a lot less money. Popular items on ebay are not always the best deals. My number one tip. Be patient. Don't bid on the first item you see if there are 20 others just like it. As far as not getting ripped off; Look at the sellers feedback rating. I feel a lot more comfortable buying from someone with a 500 feedback score with 99% positive, than from someone with a 10 feedback score and 100% positive.

  18. Proudly, framed in our office, right next to my fiancee's.
  19. Now that thing is fucking cool. That might work. I already joined the mailing list. I want one. No - I want two so they can frollic around on the floor together at 4:30 in the morning.
  20. I was thinking the same thing. My fiancée would freak out if that bell went off. She already hates waking up to the country music that plays on the alarm clock. I think I would be evicted to the couch.
  21. I don't get enough sleep. That is definitely part of the problem. I try to get to bed by 10pm, but 11 is more realistic. I also work 11 hours most days, so I don't get home til 6:00 or worse 10:00 if I go jumping after work. There aren't enough hours in the day. I'm in a coma when that alarm clock goes off, that's why I'm thinking the wake up call service might be the way to go.
  22. Does anyone have trouble getting up in the morning? I have been consistently late for work for the past 5 years. It is starting to be problematic. I just can't seem to wake up to my alarm clock. I have to be up by 5:00am at the latest to make it to work by 6:00am. I set my alarm for 4:30 and either snooze until 5:30 or sometimes I don't even hear the alarm clock til 6:00. I am considering a wakeup service. Has anyone used one before? I found this one: http://www.wakeupland.com/ Has anyone heard of it or used it? Any other suggestions?
  23. That hurt my feelings. I'm not fat. I'm well fed.
  24. This is a misprint in the Wings owners manual. I asked Ankie about it when I got my rig. No one should pack like this. It's just asking for nasty shit to happen. The lines should be at the bottom of the container or against the backpad, never against the reserve tray. I rotate mine so the grommet is on the bottom of the reserve tray. It's just a matter of how it fits best. Some Wings containers fit better either one way or the other.
  25. I just looked at the Chutingstar page. I noticed that one person had 15 reserve rides on there! That's a lot of Guiness!
