Marion & Dawn #2 : Congradulations on the big double zero jumps! My 200th will be coming in a few weekends... we can take another hack at that hybrid! The video is already storyboarded... I've just gotta find the time to do the gruntwork (wed or thurs). It'll be at the online or at the DZ by friday at the latest. Dawn #1: Sorry... being uppity is all that keeps my head from exploding when i'm running students around for 10 hours at a time. Hey man... top of the hill is easy to find. There's a parking lot on campus that's really close by. You'll have to take a ticket to get into the lot, but it's free to leave after midnight. From 40, make your way to franklin st. Pass the Varsity Theater marquee and make a left at the first light (the big intersection). Go one block and make a left on cameron ave. Immediately make another left into the pay parking lot beside Swain Hall. Take a ticket and park. Walk back towards franklin st. You'll pass the art museum on your left, then a big sign that says "Carolina Theater", just after the sign will be the door for Top of the Hill on your right. I like your tattoo the way it is. If you're determined to get some more ink under your skin, just start a whole new tattoo. Kinda along the same lines, I've been playing with the idea of getting a pin implanted. Kinda like this picture: CLICKY! Except i wouldn't get one in the back of my hand. I'm still trying to figure out a good location where it wouldn't be visible to the general public... maybe one mirroring each collar bone? Anyhow, whatever you decide to do, be creative and think about ways to make your design better for a long time before getting inked. Egad, A BASE life defiles a bad age.

There's also flyaway in Pigeon Forge TN, but it's more of a tourist trap than freefall trainer. And as long as you can fall stable now, you should probably save your pennies for AFF jumps and gear rather than tunnel time. Egad, A BASE life defiles a bad age.

I've had mine pierced for about 3 years. I didn't think that it hurt that badly during the piercing or after the fact. The real hassle is learning to eat again without biting the stud, which i believe is more shocking than painful. As far as those vibrating tounge rings go, I wouldn't think that something so small could be very effective. How do you turn them off and on? I assume that they're either always on, or there's some sort of screw down switch? It'd suck to have it start vibrating mid sentence. Egad, A BASE life defiles a bad age.

A decent number of us stay at the DZ on weekends, the rest go off to dinner in wake forrest, or to the front row (sports bar off capital). Just stick with us and you'll have some interesting times/learn some interesting stuff. I've learned volumes by hanging around sipping back bud light with some of the experienced jumpers like Rocky, Steve, & Nick. Egad, A BASE life defiles a bad age.

Hey joe It was a very busy weekend at CSS. There were ~12 4-way teams competing in 4,6, and 10 rounds, as well as the usual crew of fun jumpers. MUCH thanks to all the camera jumpers for their hard work!!!
