    Moorea is quite beautiful. However, if you go to the Tuamotu archipelago (sp?), there are some lagoons with great facilities and very little tourists...     Tahiti is simply stunning. Bora Bora is gorgeous, but waaaayyyyyyy overpriced! Upwards of $500/night for an over the water bungalow. However, you can go to other lagoons, which are as stunning as Bora Bora, and pay a fraction of the price. That's where the locals go. People are very nice.
