    USC will blow the game open by half time. The Sooners will come back somewhat in the 2nd half, at least making it semi-interesting.

    Keep the preseason rankings. Have each team play 9 games to adjust the rankings. Then have a mini tournament, starting with 1/4 finals, involving the top 8 teams. Single elimination to the title game. Of course the team ranked #9 won't be happy, but at least you'll have a clear winner, without having to play 15 or 16 games. My thoughts.
