    Which, if I'm not mistaken, did not sit well with the locals. Especially showing up with a video crew. Locals had been jumping it for quite some time. It was already hot, from what I was told.     I think she might have meant having foreign troops on your continental homeland, with military and civilian casualties in the 100's of thousands. But I may be wrong. The brutality of the battles in the Pacific in WWII are certainly on par with battles that occured in Europe.
