The manufacturers have got more experience in manufacturing parachutes than most of us DZ.commers. At least more than me and you put together.     Small plastic rectangular mount with a sticky tape on the bottom of it glued to the helmet and then the top mount (with a camera attached to it) is snapped into the bottom one (can be taken on and off at any time, the camera). The plastic should break on a cutaway during a snag, however the sticky tape is very powerful and hard to get off.. Kinda of a rough description from how I remember the mount and stuff.. there are still lots of suppositions.
