  10. not my favorite selection of color, but nice rig (as long as you don't have to compress that reserve spring yourself ) It is a very comfortable rig (as most modern rigs). Some people may not like the magnet secured PC pud, but it is not a problem for me. May I ask what canopies you have inside ? Congrats on your new rig, enjoy it. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

  15. got the chance to try a similar piece of equipment at PIA in BArcelona 3 years ago, very interesting, very realistic, really great training tool. Wish all DZ's were equipped for some basic canopy training (or at least mine). scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

  17. according to my latest news, he has been out of coma for a couple of weeks (undefined), physically doing pretty good, doesn't limp anymore, can put his clothes on alone, still needs some reeducation. but apparently still needs some more "mental" recuperation, apparently he wouldn't always answer to questions and such. Needs some rest and training for the head and he should make a pretty good recovery, given the gravity of the incident. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
  18. negative recovery arc ?? or just long ? or neutral ? To me negative would mean unstable/would always increas the dive... scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
  19. also if you want to winterjump, www.pcv.ch Paraclub Valais jump in Sion, flying across the ski resorts, very nice in the winter. Our Dutch friends were pretty stoked , plus you can combine with skiing and thermal bathing

  21. The french do not talk about their incidents. Latest news I had was he was in a coma. It is possible that he unfortunately passed away, but in France unless you are a DT (french DZO+S&TA), it's almost impossible to get news. In Switzerland it has not been reported on Swissskydive.org . We will see if anything filters out at the delegiertversammlung scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
  22. OK now the man is down, let's stop the beating please. GAry did say he would do all he can to get money/gear back to his customers. My WAG is they will need time. When you have your head in the mud, it is not easy to breathe and get up if people continue to press you down. I'm not suggesting you all praise Gary, or send him money or more orders, just let him breathe. I have been in very uncomfortable financial situations, and still not very balanced, but getting better. It did happen to me that it involved fellow skydivers (I was always on customer side, receiving gear and being late paying), and they got their dues, late but they got them. And boy I did feel crappy. Now if I am not paying immediately, I am not ordering. Lesson learnt. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
  23. would you be willing to make some space in your basement ?
