One thing that puzzles me is that you should look under the aircraft and every other axis if possible before jumping. This must take so much time that you have to start looking well before the spot. Is it possible you could miss the actual important hazards such as directly infront and below or off to side of jump run flying across because your starting your check too early?

I've been watching this thread evolve and wanna just intrude for a second... Don't you think making such a big deal out of this bill that is being introduced, on a public, internationally accessible forum is just going to reinforce to the parties involved, media out there spying and other local authorities who may be looking into the impact of this, that it would have the desired effect. People are already talking about putting off new jumpers and disrupting the industry. This is exactly what they want to hear. If they know its going to work in preventing BASE jumping then they will do it and maybe not just locally to New York, but more widespread. Whether thats Scoop's chaos theory in action or not I don't know, anyway, I'll drag my sorry ass back to the bonfire now. Stay safe

There was a classic comment in the match today. One of the Italian guys genuinely badly hurt themselves and fell over holding his ankle. He didnt move and was moaning in pain. The commentator: "Oh yes, that looks genuine. That wasn't like a footballer (as in Soccer) 'I've been blown over by the wind' and then roll over 14 times" As for the NFL game without PPE. I'd like to see that too. It'd be funny. The presence of armour in rugby is getting greater though, paticularly when you look at the Italian team.

Yeah they do, the trouble is, alot of the genuinely skilled and experienced skydivers who have proved themselves at high levels of competition are normally good people! No ego at all and give you all the time in the world. Its the people with delusions of granduor who make out they are great that are the arseholes!

The best thing about rugby is they play on unless they get really smashed up. Often they get away with just changing their shirts and having a clean up to remove the blood then rejoin the play. In total on the last match Johnny Wilkinson received 14 stitches. That was during and after the game. No substituting off

Its a sahme the little teaser trailer thingy on the website doesn't have more actual footage. The embedded movie player is cool though. Don't know what you used but I've not seen that before.
