  1. http://www.break.com/index/escalator28.html Enjoy!
  2. 5432154321 is an integer as is... 54 43 21 54 21 21 ........
  3. No, apparantly when you look at the sun you can't, infact, see anything at all! *ouch my eyes*
  4. Haha, I was, of course, joking about the last bit
  5. Yeah, you would have thought he'd try to keep his head down!
  6. That is an interesting point, watch me avoid it
  7. Yeah, I should have known really. Why the fuck did I even think of starting anything that could upset a bunch of mothers. They are the worst! Paticularly the middle aged ones with their belief of self importance. I know, I'll start another thread about divorced women, they can always take a good joke... NOT! EDIT: Ooo, I thought of a better one. How women use pregnancy as an excuse to do sod all for months! That'll go down a treat!
  8. Could have sworn I did, yep. First post in fact... Next issue? Yes they are and well done to you. However, if we get back to the original point. Being a mum isn't an occupation, its a responsibility.
  9. In the UK it is an offence to be drunk in a public place... including a bar. I guess being drunk is classed as drinking to excess and you shouldn't get in that state if the bar staff are doing their job properly. However, in reality nothing happens to anyone. If is repeated trouble originating from one paticular licenced premises then they can get shut down (as in the case of one nightclub in our town) as the police are the people that grant the licence to serve intoxicating liquor and can just as easily revoke it. The only people who get in trouble are when they start fighting or getting out of hand harrassing people. EDIT - After posting this I've read the whole thread through and see, as ever, it's taken an interesting tangent!
  10. two thousand and nine & two thousand and twelve
  11. *stirs the pot* We call them builders over here *runs*
  12. Dude, I got a B for English I should be shit hot at spelling! Grammer school boy you know I blame texting and internet for leading me astray! Hehe. Me, miss the point.... nah!
  13. Thanks for your qualified opinion. I really value it Because the paperwork I fill out isn't a yes/no answer. You have to state occupation. Which is why I put either housewife or unemployed.
  14. All done in house with company. National qualifications. Money in your pocket. Thank you very much! Other alternative for me was to join the army and learn a trade. Couldn't have afforded college and uni and the debt it builds up. I meet so many people that go to university and get into masses of debt because they 'didnt know what to do' or wanted to go 'for the social life' Its not the only option for people out there. At least certainly not this side of Atlantic
  15. Mainly 'welfare queens' but also as mentioned the ones that sit on their ass and do nothing but justify it by saying they are parents. PLEASE NOTE: I have no problem with genuine people who stay at home to look after their kids prior to going to school or who home teach. Thats great!
  16. I understand the reasoning for a uniformed requirement, but its still funny as hell! se·cret adj. Kept hidden from knowledge or view; concealed. Dependably discreet. Operating in a hidden or confidential manner: a secret agent. Not expressed; inward: their secret thoughts. Not frequented; secluded: wandered about the secret byways of Paris. Known or shared only by the initiated: secret rites. Beyond ordinary understanding; mysterious. Containing information, the unauthorized disclosure of which poses a grave threat to national security. I've covered faces because they might not appreciate being splashed over internet despite images already being available.
  17. Dont worry about that, I'm not rushing! 'full time wife!?' Argggggggggh! GETMEOUTTAHERE!
  18. Haha, oh no, what have I started!?
  19. I just like things to be simple. Not making things up to sound good! Like how an office worker becomes an office executive or, my paticular favourite, when an insurance assesor calls themselves engineers? What do you design/build/fabricate then? I have absolutely no doubt its hard work and one day I'd love to have an income sufficient to allow my partner to stay at home to look after our children. BUT ITS NOT A JOB! You don't get paid for it, your not going to get a mothers pension etc It is hard work. But its not 'work' ...and please dont tell me it takes 7 hours to do household chores everyday. What do you do, redecorate a room instead of cleaning it?
  20. It's not a profession though. Bearing in mind the people I deal with aren't your average decent people who work hard and make the decision to look after the kids. They don't work because they know they will receive benefits and have their rent paid yet they still have enough money for digital television, cigarettes, drink and drugs. They ARE lazy
  21. I was youngest of 3 children though. I suppose we had lucky break as my Sister was old enough to look after me while my Mum was working at night. Hmm, that sounds dodgy... but times weren't that hard
  22. Don't go to college. Debt avoided. That was my technique. Did apprenticeship instead and got paid while I learnt a trade
  23. Does anybody else get annoyed when you hear the term 'full time mother'? Really gets on my nerves for some reason. It isn't an occupation so it doesn't count. I normally politely and calmly then ask them "and what do you do for work?". You can get the classic, "I haven't got time to work and look after children" comment which just infuriates me even more. My Mum was single Mother and worked 2 part time jobs so she could safely drop me off and pick me up from school and go out in evening to work again when I was asleep. What is there that needs to be done during the 6/7 hours they are at school? I think its just lazy! When I ask someone what they do for a living when I'm working and they tell me full time mother, I scribble down UNEMPLOYED in my notebook. Mwahaha [/end of rant]
  24. Totty -> Physical attractiveness is the perception of the physical traits of an individual human person or a group, race, or type of people, as attractive or beautiful. Such beauty or attractiveness can include many various implications, including but not limited to sexual attractiveness, "cuteness", and physique .. in other words we stand outside the clubs and perve at all the lovely ladies going in and out. If a hen party (batchelorete party) comes along then hold on to your hats, batons, cuffs else your gonna lose it!
