Was one of the words adenoidectomy?? If so, I've had it but I should note that I was in grade 2... Never had an ear infection since though, and I used to get them chronically. I don't remember my exact recovery time, but it wasn't long. Not sure if that helps at all, or even it that's what your surgery would be... Technically, I believe you're wrong... From Wikipedia: "In linguistics, a phrase is a group of words which form a constituent and so function as a single unit in the syntax of a sentence." No worries Nigel - to me, the suggestion is similar to getting her a doll... It fits into gender-stereotypes, but lots of girls *do* love them... So I see where you were coming from. It was a good idea, but I just didn't see anything that didn't make me cringe!! ETA - My friend is going to make her a hat - see pics of some of her creations... They are *awesome*

An IP address is not unique to a user. Lookup "NAT", and "DHCP". Hmm.. Just looked it up.. Didn't *really* get it! But I'm going to assume you're right (!). Still, it would be good if there were a way to ban all the accounts owned by the Troll (including his/her "real" account). In the end, you can't weed out shit-disturbers. Takes all sorts anyway. No kidding!! Besides, she probably wouldn't even remember it!!! I've just asked one of my friends if she would make my niece a hat. My brother's spouse just posted the cutest pics of her with her new hat and my friend makes these amazing crochet hats... But I just thought of it and my niece's birthday is in just under 2 weeks, which doesn't give my friend enough time!! If she agrees to make one, I think I will send a small gift in the meantime and send the hat when it's ready. Right now am really liking the Madeline idea, but still open to suggestions

Have you tried writing everything down? I don't mean on here... I mean for yourself - being totally honest and uncensored and letting it all out. And doing this on a regular basis - not just one outpouring... Dunno... Sometimes putting pen to paper can help. I've kept a diary for as long as I can remember and if nothing else, it's interesting to look back at the evolution of my feelings. Heck, just reading it back makes me feel good because it shows me what a dumbass I've been and a lot of it is rather funny in hindsight!! Awesome idea, but I'm not working at the moment, so a flight to Canada is a bit out of my budget! But I still really like the idea - maybe when she's a bit older we can explore the possibility of flying her to Europe to visit me
