When I had about 100 jumps and thought I was the world's youngest sky-goddess (OMG that's so funny now that I realise how crap I am!!!) I considered getting something with a closing pin in it.. I'm so glad I didn't, because I'm at a stage where I've mostly not jumped in the last 4-5 years and I'm not sure I would consider myself a skydiver in the same sense as when I thought I would have 10 000 jumps by now... My existing tat is far less meaningful to me now than when I got it 12 years ago, but it's part of me and I'm very fond of it still. I never thought I'd want another one, but for the past year or so I've really wanted a very colourful piece.. And now, much to my surprise, I know I will get a second tat - I just haven't crystallised in my mind exactly what it will look like yet. Thing is.. Not true. Having a big limit is usually a symptom of having a good credit history, but it does not *give* you a good score - not directly, anyway (not unless you use your large limit and pay it off). In fact, a large credit limit can *prevent* you from obtaining a loan because there is more risk of you going into debt and not being able to pay back the new loan. When my aunt went to apply for a business loan a couple of years ago, she was advised to get rid of all of her (excess) store credit cards, because her overall access to borrowing via her existing credit cards made her too much of a risk for further borrowings.
