Try a rodeo. Grab a couple of people to be 'horses' and another jockey. Take a 4 way star out then on the key, the jockeys get on their horses to begin a tracking race. Talk to an instructor about jump run & tracking directions and get it filmed! bigger ways work too!! I'm hoping to do one for my 400th next weekend. Pic attached is me & the boss on my 100th

As Phreezone said, its a scam. If you proceed, you will get a very realistic looking cheque, (Check to you lot!), in the post. Amazingly it will be for much more than you wanted for your rig and the 'buyer' will ask you to send him back the balance via Western Union. Or perhaps something more elaborate like he can't go through with the deal because his brother is in hospital and needs the money back for an operation. Either way, if you bank the cheque the $$ will appear in your account and it will seem like a realistic transaction. 4 or 5 weeks later the cheque comes back as fake and the bank wants their money back. Some chappie in Nigeria will be dining out and you will be out of pocket. Ask your 'buyer' if his client has been trained to use a rubber strap-on deployment system!! I have 2 answers for you, they are both the same, one is just the long version. Firstly my $0.02 worth from our experience, (the long version! Scroll down if you want the short one). My partner & I only jump at best every other weekend and could never commit to training schedules for 4 way, so we kinda missed out when people at our skill level went into teams. We weren't that interested in freefly and as a result ended up jumping as a 2 way a lot of the time. Once I stuck a camera on my head, things started to change, Jackie started 'playing' in the sky, rolls, flips, etc. We were still in rel suits and didn't even know that freestyle existed. Eventually after talking with instructors and Naomi, (Oz Freestyle champ), she borrowed a freestyle suit and I borrowed a freefly suit. Now we are playing cat and mouse, welcome to the world of backsliding!!! Jackie flipping around and posing in the sky, me chasing her around on my belly. This was fun for about 50 jumps. Jackie started learning new moves and I did my best to keep up! After doing some research and looking at some of the compulsories it quickly became obvious that we needed to learn to freefly. Charging around the sky is unsafe and not really what freestyle is about! How difficult can it be to freefly? Talk to a few freefly people and off we go for a few solos. Tumble, belly, tumble, hey this is cool, tumble etc. A few solos later, we both have stable a sit, so off we go together... Out, in, GO..... bye, bye Jackie! Me falling like a fridge and both of us backsliding. We tried a fair few of these and eventually admitted to ourselves that we needed help. We did a coaching weekend with one of our top freefly guys and started to unlearn some of the stuff we were doing. A fair few weekends later we are head up flying together in the same column of air, a few feet apart. Heading, fallrate and backsliding issues are largely a thing of the past. If the weather is kind this weekend, we're going back to school to look at head down. We have also taken up gymnastics to work on flexibility and posture. When we are 'happy' with freefly we'll look at coaching for freestyle. OK, now the short answer. Get a coach and ideally someone else who is happy to go down the track with you. Camera flying in freestyle is an integral part of the 'performance'. I don't know why its so unpopular, maybe because there is no intermediate class. When I first looked at some of the compulsories my thoughts were, "You want me to do WHAT!!!?". Maybe new jumpers just want to freefly? Maybe its also because you need a sh!t hot camera flier and they are expensive. I'm no way in that class and am on the same, if not a steeper learning curve than Jackie. In addition to learning to freefly, I'm getting camera coaching. Some of our recent footage looks AWESOME, Jackie doing layouts or stags off the tail of the skyvan then into sit fly, all in centre frame. We have a LONG way to go but its a great journey. Shout if you want anything from us, but I can only give you advice from our experience.

If they are thinking of this as a once off experience, another option may be to put it off until you have enough jumps/skill to go out after one of them and dock on the passenger. See what your TMs/CI have to say on the subject. If not and you have to go solo, I loved the whole hang off the wing strut with legs flapping in the wind type exit. Obviously no hand signs or camera geeking

No score = trousers and pants down and round you go! If its not your cup of tea, just say so or buy beer instead! I can't see many jumpers in Oz enforcing the rule against peoples will. One of the lads at Ramblers, (You know who you are!), saved my dignity with a deliberate own goal last year. Should work fine mate, My HC20 is pretty much the same camera. Put one on play and the receiving camera on record. Select page 3 and the buttons are right there. If it still won't work try another set of leads. The camera screen should show that the firewire is connected.

No dramas at Sydney airport, security staff said what's in there. Told them a parachute. Couple of funny looks but straight through. Brisbane airport, massive dramas! Security basically told us to fuck off when we tried to carry them on. He wasn't the discussion sort & beer was on the menu so we went back to check in. Despite Cypres card and careful explanation Virgin Blue wouldn't let us check them in!!! Eventually a staff member came past and overheard the word Cypres, she knew her stuff and cleared the rigs for check in. Could have been a sticky situation!!

We'll see what happens when freestyle team soixante neuf rock up at the nationals next year!!

Its the updated HC20. Small, cheap & does the job fine. My 20 has developed a bit of a habit of not wanting to turn off sometimes but still works fine.
