I figure i'm just fucked all the way around anyways! I can't afford what they have quoted me anyways ,2200.00 a year for coverage that won't cover nothing anyways . So why buy insurance ? They will only cover what they think it is worth at the time of loss (not replacement cost). If i could afford the insurance then i could afford to by a new rig or what ever i loss anyways . If you use it for business and don't let them know? It is my understanding that they have no way of finding out from your taxes ? According to what i'm told no one can order an audit other than the I R S Is this true ? I been fighting with these guys for quite sometime now and have had no luck yet. I have 4 rigs and an assortment of camera equipment and computers ,studio lighting, etc etc etc the list is endless. Even if i got a policy it would only cover it while it was at my home and never leave home .Then they have the nerve to tell me they will only cover things for what they think it is worth ,not replacement cost . If you find someone to do it i'm game ? Ok Here's what i have so far. Just need to resolve how i'm going to mount my flash cable to the top so it don't inter-fear with any functions. Check out the last post guys? Next thing is a carbon fiber flash mount with screws and slot mounting. I wanted to do the screw and slot thing like wes does but my video won't allow access to the tape eject then. I think this sounds good . Just trying to figure out a template to line everything up with the still camera. I make my templates from paper and crayons from the bottom of the camera's. But getting them lined up with the still is kind of tricky . Anyone have a secret way of doing it? I'm up for idea's? Anyone have any engineering idea's on putting a pin in a carbon fiber plate for a video cam? I drilled a 1/4 in hole for my thumb screw ,but i need a pin of some sort for the other hole to keep it from rotating on me? Booties are just in my way (pain in my ass) I use a couple suits but my best one is a tony suit with a c-wing and a free fly baggy leg on it. I have had a couple sets of booties on some of my camera suits,and still have 1 for a backup suit but it collects dust.
