Yeah, I always see those border patrol guys but they fly out to the south over the mountains.

Ya and then you should put oil all over, pierce your ears, bleach and spike your hair, wear one of those shell necklaces, get a pair of those small lensed sunglasses and whatever else you need to do to look like one of those mtv spring break choads.

This happened on Saturday the 28th around midday at Otay in San Diego. I was just thinking about it but not sure where to post it. I dont know if anyone else on this website was there but a personal helicopter flew right over the dropzone at about 300 ft agl with canopies at about 2-3000 ft agl. The helicopter was directly below the canopies. It was pretty scary. Just posting this in the hope that maybe someone that has some more information at the dropzone can do something about it to avoid future problems (like chopping up people under canopy). The helicopter was a small yellow personal one if that is any help.

Why the 45 degree method does not work (long)
stuffit replied to billvon's topic in Safety and Training
Quick off topic question: I know you jump in san diego but I dont think i have met you. Which guy are you(nothing bad, just curious). Back to topic: I am not saying that anyone should use the 45 degree method but I have seen a bunch of students at Otay jump without looking or counting long enough. It scared the shit out of me. Actually happened on Saturday the 28th. I saw a solo belly go out ahead of us after a 4 way belly. He didnt even look out the door and he only counted for about four seconds. I dont know if this is due to teaching methods or not but I have also seen people there look out at the group ahead of them and still not give enough separation. -
Perris. Not too far from you and they got a tunnel. They are always running during the week (weather permitting).

Why the 45 degree method does not work (long)
stuffit replied to billvon's topic in Safety and Training
This is a good observation/study but I dont think that the 45 degree angle (which i have heard many instructors tell students to use and no, I will not pm you any names) is meant to be taken exactly as it is said. I think it is meant more as a way to get the students used to looking out of the plane at the group in front of them and at the ground rather than counting to some number of seconds and jumping out without looking. -
Yo mommas so poor , i stepped on a cigarette in front of her house and she ran out and said "who turned of the heat"

YOGA! Will give you strength, flexibility, and muscle control among other things.

I just want to know: Do you believe in the stories about creation and that stuff or do you believe in scientific theories such as evolution? I just want to see if you are taking everything in the Bible as fact.

In a world that is hundreds of millions of years old, I would not go about trying to prove the dates for a book that is two thousand years old. There is no point. Secondly, where is the "good evidence" that he died in this persecution.
-
"seeing his death is not recorded" - why does his death have to be recorded in this account, does every story tell the entire life of a person? No. "since there is good evidence that paul died in the neronian persecution about A.D. 67..." - Where is this good evidence? I could go on and on, would you please just admit that science prevails and that this book is not always accurate.
-
You dont need to refute any of that stuff in the article because it is idiotic. Just read it without your belief in the forefront PLEASE.
-
Do you attend church weekly and if so what do you get from it? (Please dont give me some spiritual high and mighty answer. Just tell me why you really do it)
-
The funny thing about people that so strictly follow religion, like yourself, is that if you were born in another country with a different religion, you would be spouting off all of these quotes from the book of their religion. Point being that it all comes down to the fact that some people just need to be told how to live their lives, they cannot follow their own path. Edit: Forgot to ask: What did you believe in before you became a "born again" Christian and how long ago did you have this revelation?

I wonder if you actually listen to Howard Stern at all. I am in san diego (one of the places he got shut off) and I listen to him almost every day. Yes some of the stuff he says is pretty dumb but on almost every show, he has to stop and check with the show manager if something he is going to say is allowed by the FCC. This would annoy the shit out of me. How would you like it if you were trying to work and every five seconds someone told you that you could not say this or that. Granted he does have a job that is not normal and says things that people dont want to hear but so fucking what, if you dont like it, dont listen.
-
The "reason" for him getting yanked is that a listener called up and said the word "nigger", Stern then hung up on them. That guys calls in and says that same shit all the time and they didnt do anything before. Anyways, he was saying it to Robin and she didnt care, why should anyone else?
-
By that reasoning, why make any movie that involves violence? People like to watch that stuff obviously. Whether it is historical or not, most of the movies made are hollywood glorified bullshit.

It doesnt have anything to do with the woman being comfortable with herself. She justs wants to make you feel like a stud so that you will buy her something expensive.

That "hand signal" has nothing to do with skydiving.

Reading my post, i guess it did sound like it was directed at you. Not my intention, sorry. I just wanted to make a point because I hear those "taco bell" comments all the time.
-
Isn't it funny how many people in this country(USA) have no idea what real mexican food is? I am from san diego so I know what is up but i have run into people that actually think that Taco Bell is mexican food. Even a lot of these "taco shops" around here aren't anything like what you get in Mexico. I guess it is just my perspective, but I still find it hard to believe.

put some habaneros in it you wuss! (or atleast some jalapenos)

Who else saw this movie? That shit was fucked up. It was really good though. Charlize Theron has to win some kind of award for that.
