Regardless of how I personaly feel about SDC, I just dont understand how anyone could laugh at this....I knew some of these people that died....and this is just sad....period.... as far as the sign goes....who ever would do that...needs to GROW UP!!!!....and then get a life other than slandering SDC.... Just got off the phone with Anne, things dont seem to be changing and the Dr's still have no clue...more tests...worst part is the insurance wants to kick her ass out today....I hate insurance companys....wait till she tells ya how the spinal tap went..... Honestly Flyhi, there wasn't a choice...we did what we HAD to do...BUT by me saying that I was tested was the truth...I really hate "joe"....but I still did what was right even though it would have been so easy to just go through the motions....I just found out "joe" got out of ICU and is now on a step down unit... and "our line of work" has been my home for 10 yrs now......you can say I have seen it all...but that just isn't the truth...I am burned out on bums that call every other day and take our only ambulance out of town...the rest of the town suffers due to joe....except this one time.....when joe needed us... We got a call for the local drunk we will call him "joe". he calls us between 5-15 times a week takes our only ambulance in town out of service to take his butt to the hospital...I have taken "joe" to the hospital close to 40 times in the last 5 months since arriving at this particular FD. I am so sick of "joe" I literaly couldn't stand the guy. he always says he's not feeling well..blah blah blah...one time he had 26 different complains on ONE call....he knows that we will always take him..and the hospital will always feed him....let me state again...I HATE "joe"... well sunday I get to work and am tired after driving to see Anne in St.Louis.... first call of the day bout hour and a half after we get there...we get sent to the park that joe always frequents and lives in....for the "unresponsive person"...we figured joe had to much to drink as usual... we get there...and joe has a pulse of 20....(mind says.."shit we gotta actualy save his ass").....need less to say...by the time we got the moniter on him...blah blah blah...joe had no pulse...we tubed him, gave him good drugs, and paced him back to life....I hated joe...and then I saved his ass...just so he can call us and waste our time some more... now all the other shifts...even the hospital that we brought him too have been giving us shit...but they all know that they would have done the same thing...funny thing is one of the Doc's in the ER patted us on the back and said we did a good job considering Joe had been there just 10 hrs before and had taken his feces and was throwing it at that very DR..........amazing how people can be....turns out joe got too cold the night before out in the rain...and 50 degree temps....hypothermia is Noooo good... anyway...thought I'd share this very perplexing situation Iwas in.....god how life is wierd....

Hey guys....just want an answer to something that happened to me a few weeks ago that i've been thinking about. I had a nice canopy ride blah blah blah....I was on final...nice straight in approach on a no wind day...all my landings have been stand up on my safire 189 that I LOVE!!!!....but this time I went to flare and the canopy popped me back up into the air about 15 feet acording to witnesses (new experience for me)...I let up the toggles about an inch or two to plane the canopy out a bit and to keep it flying... I then had a nice gentle set down and was like kick ass!!!... Well after I got off the field this guy told me that I should have kept my toggles down....My feeling is that if I had down that I felt like the canopy would have stalled out...as my flare point and stall point are close....anyway I landed fine... My question is...should I have held them down...or is what I did ok? I think I did a fine job and didn't freak out or anything and didn't raise my toggles all the way up or anything...so anyway...any thoughts are appreciated.. thanks Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

My GF(FallinWoman) is in the hospital 300 miles away from me...I've never felt more helpless than right now... please send Anne vibes...she has been sick for weeks...has had no jumps basicly since Rantoul, and has had to teach a bunch of little bastard children Math while having a hard time to even keep her balance.... thanks guys.... Well considering I jump a 189safire(really a 174or so) and my base rig is a 310 mojo...this really isn't even that big of a deal if i went up 100... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

I gotta work at the firehouse sunday...i worked there friday night for a few hours watching a stupid football game(highschool standby)...then drove to St.Louis 300 miles to see my GF after that...stayed for 18hours then drove back tonight 300 miles and now gotta go to the casa de fuego in 3hrs....life sucks...but I got to see Anne...so I'm happy.... first off, I didn't say anything about the safety of my fellow jumpers blah blah blah..that was someone else...and i have NEVER said steel links are unsafe EVERY to anyone...I use steel links on my reserve if i thought they were unsafe they would NOT be there. as far as my jump numbers are concerned does that really matter here? equipment knowledge and jump numbers are not the same....I know people with 3000 jumps that have no clue about equipment....then I know A license holders with 60 jumps that have there rigger ticket.... I have one of the newer TIME-OUT's...the skinny ones....only a year old or so.....mine will FLAT line....dont ask me why I know this...but I know it does.....but let's just say...today was a fun day....or scary depends how ya look at it.... oh yeah....dont tell the GF....HEHEHEHE....
