Thank you Bill....I jump at a SL predominate DZ...it is a cheaper way to go and it tends to put out just as good of jumpers using the new ISP as any AFF program i have seen...actualy better than the traditional AFF for sure Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

work your way up through the US forest service wildland firefighting teams....ground pounders, hot shots, smoke jumpers....the jump is really secondary in a big way to all the VERY hard work those guys do.... I'll stick with my structure fires....wildland firefighting is for the birds.....WAY too dangerous... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

I'm a firefighter/Paramedic in Roselle, IL.....fun job...gotta cut a huge ass hole in a roof yesterday to vent a fire..... I've been a flight paramedic for 7yrs.....have worked both rotory and fixed wing....have been to 90 some country's...worked in NZ and SA on helicopters in both country's... I also worked for the Organ bank as a tissue retrieval specialist.... but am gonna be moving soon to St.Louis area..not sure what I'm gonna do down there...probably more of the same..then off to eather medical school or nursing school.... My skybands are still holding strong after over 70 jumps...except the two inner locking stows those I replaced after 50 jumps...50 jumps on locking stowes I was really happy with.... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

Every major rig maker has had to have there stuff sent back in for mod's...that the manufacturer messed up.....difference is the Javelin I owned Sun Path SUCKED as far as customer service....friends with Mirages had very very bad customer service happen with them...Wings has been everything I could ever ask for in a container manufacturer....customer service and the rig it self has been exceptional and then some....my NEXT rig will be a wings also.... Spy..I used to do just like you...ride in brakes till below my decision height.....but this time as I was trying to pull my slider down it popped a toggle free and locked up the other one....it took my 1500 feet to get the one free...it was a mess...I was sooo close to cutting away....just something to think about... Chuck....here's a question for you...and Bill von too... what if you can only get one toggle released? should you try to flare with one riser in brakes and the other with the toggle released....I just don't see good things with this set up....one will be released the other wont.... the reason I ask this is that a friend was lost this way when his canopy stalled trying to land like this... personaly I had a problem getting my toggle out last week...and almost chopped when I got it out at 2000.... what to do??....
