    I have...outside rotorua in NZ...they do it alot more on the south Island as opposed to the north island. but your gonna be in OZ...I'm sorry. given the choice of going on vacation I'd take NZ everytime...even though I lived there for almost a year.... I believe there is only one Zorb place in OZ...but have fun... my comments on it were in the other thread.     Do you think drug use is a victemless crime? have you ever seen what pablo did to people in columbia...people who use drugs....if it comes from certain sources(which most of it does)...help this type of terrorism...the war on drugs is a needed war...I often see the end result of it in the patients I care for on a regular basis...     My previous employer in the chicagoland area had heard about the drug related fatality at SDC, they knew I was a skydiver and that SDC was one of my home Drop zones. I was suddenly given a "random" drug screen. part of the job...i really don't mind as I have nothing to hide. thing is last time they had given a "random" drug screen was over 4 years ago....... Drugs in dead skydiver's systems make us all look bad...I just dont understand how you guy's dont see that..... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    Frank, about time more DZO/DZmanagers step up to the plate. on the testing everyday issue...the fact that you can get a random drug test is a deterent to not having to do that. where I work we have random drug tests. I can get nailed going three times in a week...or could work for years and not get called up after my initial after hire pee test. it is a deterent and it does work.     Hence the reason it takes several months usualy to get toxicology reports back....usualy they dont draw blood only...they also take tissue. usualy from the liver, as that is where all the nasty shit that people ingest usualy get's disposed of....they also take tissues from other area's of the body also. brain being one of them....     anyone who has taken CPR is supposed to have been taught NOT to do this. I believe Bill is an EMT or first responder trained. I am a Paramedic/Flight Medic/Critical care transport paramedic....it is NOT smart to do CPR on a person that still has a pulse and is breathing...all you will do is accelerate there travel to the grave(in MOST cases).....     Correct me if I'm wrong bill but they do have tests for the false postives...such as the poppy seed issue and ephedra comes up as a amphetamine...but there are ways to double test to rule it out as one from the other.... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    I should have stated...that the majority of each group feel that way.... how anyone can be against instructors and pilots getting drug tested is beyond me...in my line of work peoples lives are in my hands...and I get drug tested. I have no issue what so ever. But then again...I dont use and never have used illegal drugs. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    I find it interesting that the people that "use" are the ones against it...and the people who dont "use" are the people who dont mind... seems alot of people are worried about not being able to work or jump at places.... Andy, if ya dont like Roger or his beliefs dont jump at SDC and dont receive his Email's...pretty easy really... I personaly like what I am seeing at SDC, it is a much needed improvement. I wish other DZ's in the country besides SDC and SDA would do this...... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    Lise Aune was telling me about something along these lines at Deland one time. I agree with there testing...except to all fun jumpers. but I believe competitors should be tested. I know when Rook and Olav went to Japan they had to pee in a bottle. why is it our country is one of the few that does not require random testing of it's national's competitors, when so many others do? I think that if you represent the US you should be a fine upstanding citizen in every way. Now i know I'll get flamed for this....but I see the effects of drugs on a daily basis at work.     hence the reason why I'd never buy another one of "those" products. nothing sucks worse than buying a "new to me" used reserve 218-m and find out I have to send it back to George to get fixed...at MY cost. It was literaly two weeks after I bought it the directive came out....I wont buy another precision product due to this.

    Talk to Scott Miller or Bushman about it. they both will tell you that it will improve the canopy regardless of size. we do have collapsable drogues dont we for Tandems????? imagine that airplow not being deflated...although this isn't a fair comparison.... I'll find some stuff on it...I know I've seen it. both on Icarus, PD's and Precision's site's... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    but several LARGE CANOPY manufacturers DO recomend getting a collapsible P/C regardless of size. this includes both PD, Icarus, Precision, and Atair.......I think I'll take the canopy guys opinion over container folk's any day.
