believe it or not it only takes about an hour and a half to get there on the greenway then to 95. gets kinda boring by myself. just getting to know local jumpers, but am definately having fun!!! later, marc

Hey there skymama, as soon as I get my A license I'll drop by deland, but I really do like sebastian. there is a great view of the ocean there ya know? and Skydive U provides free coaching for my consolidation jumps which is most excelent. as far as the picking people up thing it made me want to skydive even more because i realized how cool everyone is in the community. there really isnt another sport quite like this out there. I just dont see the attitudes like I do other places. see ya later, marc

Good job froggie, I am new to the board but found this string interesting, as I an experienced paramedic(9yrs) and work on a chopper down here in florida so I tend to care for injured skydivers quite often. hope to see ya around some time(not in my chopper that is) marc

Very good point about any jump is better than no jump, but the ground is just so dang close. I am in Deland often as I am a paramedic for an area service there and usual pick up the people up there when they want to crash.

I just finished my AFF there and did my #8 Hop"n"Pop(I hated it) weekend before last. They truly have great instructors there. I would recomend this place to anyone. Oh yeah, THE CASA RULES!!!!
