    This has been debated on this board quite a bit....if you do a search you can find the pro's and cons on both....and the fact that everyone will definatley NOT agree on this one....SL gives you much better canopy control lessons(from sheer amount) AFF means you have an instructor RIGHT there for you in your time of need.....and on and on and on and on... marc BSBD

    I know the person that you are talking about...now I do agree with you about Know where your handles..are I also think it is a good idea for people who have not had a cutaway to have an RSL...(unless your skysurfing,photo,yada yada yada)...WHY? just because they have not had the pleasure of finding the handles and doing what they have been trained to do......many people have died due to them NOT pulling there handles and going in nice and stable.....that is not good..in these cases RSL and Cypres surely would have made a difference.... marc BSBD
