Amen....even if I dont have a kit...I can do more with just simple training....Training is key. it is amazing that in a sport such as this the DZ's dont have an EMT at the least standby or have one of there staff go to a course....but hey....there usualy is someone like me around anyway... marc BSBD

Bill the one problem with rigs is that the patient is now lying on a hump...the key in maintaining the Cspine is to make sure the neck is straight out..not low or high...which can be difficult if they are lying on the ground...one way is if they are still face down or lying on there side an Idea is to maintain Cspine while in this position then get the rig off of them, Then do the a barrel roll to get him(or her) over to her back.....if they have a spinal injury and some one rolls them onto there rig..you might help them to not walk again....but as Bill asserted #1 priority is Airway/Cspine...then breathing....circulation....yada yada yada..... marc BSBD

Joe, I haven't seen the aerodyne video so kinda hard for me to know if the two are simple....basicly it is a pro pack...but you flip the pack job over once on its back...rolling it all into the middle then rolling it up into the Dbag...well not quite that easy...but easier than the pro pack... marc BSBD -
My little israeli buddy went for a skydive and got the ride of his life..his very short life that is. from what he tells me. they got all loaded up in the plane, seat belts on, take off roll was ok. after about 30 secs of air time plane started shaking....Both engines quite...Pilot went to go set it down on a road but there was car's inthe way so he put it down nearby in the ditch skidded a bit when the wing hit a burm and did a 180 turn.... Good news is no one was hurt, and everyone got out right away. So that was Omri's adventure of the week..... marc BSBD

Knifes aren't good for cutting stuff away...sometimes people get stabbed do to this...cops stab people unintentionaly well over 500 times a year in the US from trying to cut seat belts with non saftey knives... marc BSBD
