On another note, I can't believe I got sucked into the whole American Idol thing this season. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You know you're just watching it to see what Paula does next. Tonight she's really taunting gravity by standing up for every act. I also think they just gave up and brought her in on the barstool from where she's been all day. Chuck I switched to NBC and just subjected myself to lesser crimes. But from what I saw I think Paula was slurring. Did she fall out of her chair at any point tonight? I'm beginning to think Simon IS the sane and KIND one. Randy is going through a f***ng midlife crisis. THAT was her interpretation of Black Velvet? Is that was it was supposed to be? I'm talking about when Simon told the 'music teacher' he couldn't understand a WORD she said? And by the way, Randy needs to grow the f**k up..last year he was talking like an illiterate 14 y/o...now he's just laughing in peoples faces'. So unprofessional. It was hysterical..they brought out a kitty gym (with levels and scratching posts and pads you can jump to and fro), played disco music and let the kitties play, then at the end they threw confetti (scared some of the kitties) and then the Bissell man came out and swept it all up. Just as interesting as a Superbowl Halftime show. What I thought was cute about the Puppy Bowl--everytime the ref blew the whistle and brought in subsitutions or had to stop the 'game' for field maintenence-and of course, the tailgaitng party. What she did was sit front in her chair and the next shot she was on her knees with her elbows on the table and her face right up on the table top. I didn't care if she slid and had her dress over her head fully passed out, I knew she was coming out of that chair one way or the other. Later, they said she couldn't make it the next morning due to a family emergency (can you say INTERVENTION, boys and girls?). ~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
