After all their whining and crying about involving "these CHILDREN!!!" (ie his middle age, fully complicit progeny) in Trump's fraud case, this seems like a pretty transparent ploy to draw some comments about him that they can spin as unfair vicious democrat attacks against an innocent child. Of course conveniently ignoring the fact that he has now chosen to be involved in public life. And it never faild to amuse that for all their yelling about the Biden Crime Family, they happily handed over control of first the White House and now the entire GOP to the wider Trump family grift machine. If you ever want to find out what a Republican is actually doing, just listen to what they accuse the Democrats of doing.

So why did you decide not to use it? Seriously - do you think there is a region on earth without (much more than) a 1000 year history of conflict with its neighbours?
-
Vs your considered and deliberate hostility, I’m sure. Or perhaps your mindless acceptance of anything that anyone says is ‘anti woke’.
-
What makes you think that?
-
It certainly would. Luckily though, if you call someone clueless it might be grounds to ban you, but it is definitely not grounds to ban them.
-
What’s the difference between a snark premise that you think is true and anything else you say because you think it’s true? Feel free to try. Though last time didn’t you stop responding when it turned out you don’t know what the phrase tone deaf means? Reagan?
-
Ok, name a region that doesn’t have a thousand year history of conflict with its neighbours.
-
Every single country or region in the world has a 10,000 year history of conflict with its neighbours.
-
Not really. You could put him in a list of famous vegetarians without implying all vegetarians are nazis.

Funny how the narrative changed so quickly from 'just a few bad apples' when they started thinking it was them in the firing line, not just coloured people. I read a very good article recently asking why professional conspiracy theorists never show any interest in the multitude of real corporate, legal and governmental conspiracies that affect our daily lives and instead prefer to chase chemtrails and 4G... but it's an example that really shouldn't apply to an entire mainstream political party.
-
Is it though? So no, it wasn’t a joke.
-
Yes, it is a vey special form of courage to parrot the prevailing right wing culture war nonsense of the day while deliberately blanking any opposing opinion. What kind of medal would you recommend?

And yet if he went to college it definitely would have been as an English major.

Winsor's got a point here - that is exactly why the liberal Supreme Court overturned Roe V Wade after all, it just didn't go far enough for them! What a great example of liberal extremism he has found there. While he's always had some overly simplistic and reactionary views I am genuinely surprised that Winsor has become the single most toxic contributor here.
-
What's the betting that Winsor won't identify a single thing that makes any current democrat politician worse than Trump? Of course he doesn't have anything, he's just going to vote for Trump anyway because he's like Mussolini.
-
Although in this case, ironically, it is the people receiving the communication who are being too emotional to pay attention to the facts.
-
What exactly are you agreeing with though? Nothing about this thread involved calling anyone a Nazi.
-
Then I think you miss the point. Orban is a decent parallel - but the American right has already been fooled into liking Orban, so there's no value in pursuing it. Mussolini took power after being appointed by the King. Not much parallel there - the USA does not have a King. Ceausescu was appointed by the Politburo when Romania was already a vassal state of the USSR under totalitarian Soviet rule. No parallel there. Gaddafi was a military officer who took power in a coup having never previously been involved in politics. No parallel there. U Ne Win siezed power in a military coup. No parallel there. Now, I get what you're thinking about - just a few days ago archeologists found the skeletons of an entire family that had been executed and buried under one of Hermann Goering's residences and it makes you think that however bad Trump is there's no comparison to Nazi atrocities. But it's the career trajectory, political statements, and way of coming into power that has such striking similarities in a way that your other examples do not.

Yes you have, you said the dog killed some chickens. How do you know it killed any chickens? Were you there? Why didn’t you stop it?
-
Are you incapable of finding and reading the excerpt of her book that she wrote? Are you actually trying to argue that she was in fact the owner of the chickens and shot someone else’s dog? Because I’ll be honest, I think there’s more value in talking about things that did happen in the real world rather than things you have imagined happening in your fantasy world.
-
She wasn’t the neighbour, she was the owner. She took a dog that was bred to catch birds, that she had been too lazy to train, that was hyped out of its mind because she’d let it loose in the middle of a shoot it was totally unprepared for, to someone else’s chicken coop. What the fuck did she think was going to happen? Killing the dog as a response to her own abject failure as an owner is completely different to being a livestock owner protecting your own animals from someone else’s dog during an ongoing attack. And if there’s still any shred of doubt what a fucking soulless psycho she is - her idea of trying to ‘train’ the poor thing was using a shock collar.
-
So… not incredible then?
-
What’s the point of having any line that can still be crossed for a multitude of reasons?
-
It doesn't count when they've been indicted alongside him.
-
Right - that’s exactly why when you say there’s a red line you won’t waver from it’s not a red line and you’ll actually waver so far past it that it’s out of sight. So in practice in the real world, are you actually in favour of any restrictions on abortion at all? It doesn’t really sound like it. Which is not a problem, I’m just not sure why you’re trying to hide it.
