Except that while it would be anathema for a Nazi to be pro gay rights, pro religious freedom, pro racial equality and generally pro civil liberties there are a number of centre left Muslim politicians who manage it quite well. Personally I think the only real repercussion of this victory (vs if he was a normal white guy) is that now whenever the tube drivers go on strike, or congestion charges go up or a new fucked up bike lane gets built, Londoners can shake their fists at the sky and shout Khaaaaaaaaan! It has not been overturned, it was made clear they would lose funding (Blackmail) if they enforced the law. That's not blackmail*, it's consequences. The Feds have their own laws to follow, and they will follow them. So if NC wants to continue then they'll lose millions of dollars in funding and spend millions more defending a lawsuit that they will lose and everything will end up the same as it was before - just with everyone a little bit angrier and a little bit poorer. * Seriously, it's not. A) Assuming you're talking about Iraq that's Bush's fault, not Obama's. Both that they were there in the first place and that they left. B) it wouldn't matter who was President for that sort of stuff to happen, the military industrial complex marches on.
