IMO since we know that she was telling the truth about what happened on the video and we know that Lewandowski was lying about it the default position on this is that she's still telling the truth and he's still lying. So you clearly agree that women should be punished for having an abortion if abortions were illegal. What should the punishment be in your opinion? I simply agree that women should be held accountable IF abortions become illegal and the woman is convicted in a court of law. Who do you agree with? Because it's not Donald Trump, he clearly disagrees with you; "If Congress were to pass legislation making abortion illegal and the federal courts upheld this legislation, or any state were permitted to ban abortion under state and federal law, the doctor or any other person performing this illegal act upon a woman would be held legally responsible, not the woman. The woman is a victim in this case as is the life in her womb." Why doesn't Trump want people to follow the law? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Not to me, and not (I would think) to most people. I couldn't care less if he's convicted of a misdemeanor. The thing of it is, did he lie about it (and by lying, indirectly cause the reporter to lose her job)? So Rush, did he lie? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

That's the entire point, and has been all along. I lost interest in Benghazi quite a way back, and honestly have no idea who said what when and what they may or may not have known at the time. I'm quite prepared to believe she could have lied about that, but I really don't know enough about it. But why does it have to be tit for tat? This is a slam dunk, black and white, he lied. He definitely lied. There's no doubt about it. The only unanswered question is, will you admit it? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

In other jurisdictions, assault is defined in broader terms as any intentional physical contact with an individual without their consent. Interesting. Now - if they had been in one of those jurisdictions - would you say that Lewandowski assaulted her? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

1) It's not an assault/battery charge, it's a battery charge. 2) He did cause some physical harm to the reporter, did this chick hurt that guy at all? 3) Why should there be any outrage? I don't think anyone is really that bothered about Lewandowski being charged in a "he needs to pay for his crimes against humanity!!1!" kinda way, more about the confirmation (via the video) that he did exactly what she said he did and Trump's campaign have been lying through their teeth about it ever since. It is for me, anyway. It's the clearest indication yet of Trump's absolute refusal to admit liability, wrongdoing, error or mistakenness about anything - no matter how trivial the incident and how damning the evidence.
