If terrorists had just killed only 5 black people in Kenya or brown people in Turkey you wouldn't even have heard about it. Hell, maybe they have for all I know. The rapture is pretty much the definition of immanence, isn't it? Not in scriptural eschatology. Marvin Rosenthal has been studying and writing on the subject for several years now. He favors a mid-Daniel week rapture as opposed to the popular pre-tribulation theory. What does the timing of the rapture have to do with its immanence? Clearly that's not true. To my knowledge they might be involved to some degree in the transition, but I was unaware they are receiving high level security clearances and positions within the administration to meet with such heads of state. I know I've probably been the worst offender over the years for getting sucked into arguing over Rush's mirror-reality, but at this point even I don't think there's any value in engaging him anymore. If 'equal treatment' means giving the same $1000 subsidy to a person who's $4000 dollars shy of being able to afford fully comprehensive health insurance and a person who has millions in the bank. That's equal in terms of output from the government but it's far from equal in terms of result. It's also horrendously innefficient and unproductive. You're wasting money subsidising people who still won't be able to afford good insurance, and you're wasting money subsidising people who have absolutely no need of your help. So you've got to ask yourself what you are actually trying to achieve? Something that makes you feel warm and fuzzy because you're upholding your idealogical definition of fairness - or something that works? Hey, you know what would eradicate the issue of uninsured people? Universal healthcare As 'affordable' does in yours, apparently. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Well one conservative here stated that the main problem with Obamacare was that it helped poor people and sick people too much, and instead of also helping the healthy and wealthy who were doing just fine anyway. So if the new plan provides a wholly inadequate level of assistance to poor people and sick people but also provides it to the healthy and wealthy because it's 'fair' then it's pretty much exactly what they want. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Because God, if he exists, is so intimately interested in American politics... I for one, am thankful we are so fortunate that the supposed creator of everything prioritizes Americans over the other 700+million Christians. Praise be unto him for saving us from Hillary. ^This is literally how stupid you sound Ron. For Ron, it only matters that god is interested in US politics. God might be interested in politics elsewhere too, but for Ron it's neither here nor there. He simply doesn't care. When you talk about conditions in countries outside the US borders you might as well be talking about conditions on Mars. As far as Ron is concerned, the wellbeing of the 6.5Bn people living outside the USA is as important as the wellbeing of a termite mound. It isn't his job to care about fellow humans unless they are fellow americans. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

I've had this conversation with Ron already. Ron doesn't care if Trump is a christian. If he is a christian, great! If he isn't it doesn't matter, he's going to be used by god to do christian things anyway. And Ron knows god has chosen Trump to use, because Trump is lucky and rich! It doesn't matter what Trump has ever said or done before, so it doesn't matter what evidence you have or reasoning you bring him. Trump is great because Ron bellyfeels it. That's it. That's everything. He has constructed an argument that dismisses any and all evidence to the contrary, because reality itself does not matter. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

The fact that you cannot understand we already have all of this speaks volumes. It comes across as if you hate this country. The prototype Trump supporter is a guy standing on a street corner screaming through a megaphone about how much every single thing in America sucks... until a liberal walks past, then he screams at the liberal 'Why don't you love America!?' Why would you expect anyone else to try and work with you? When Obama was in power I asked you what level of compromise you would accept from the Republicans in order to work with Obama and help unify the country and you said zero. You said there should be no compromise whatsoever, and the Republicans shouldn't give a thing from their agenda in order to get anything done across the aisle. So where do you get off asking for democrats to do the opposite? Do you want to have an ideagasm?
