  1. A few of them do. Most of them can't be bothered. It is a genuine problem that rich people are so rich that not only is it impossible for them to spend most of their money, it's too much work to even invest it either. It just sits there in their vast, virtual Scrooge McDuck caves doing absolutely nothing. BTW, interesting that you choose Tesla who you always slam as being government subsidised and SpaceX, who get most of their money from govenrment contracts, as being examples of why not to tax rich people more.
  2. Who cares if you refuse to see it? It happens. https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2020/04/28/progressives-biden-moved-left/
  3. What does fair share have to do with the subject of the tax burden on the middle class? The percentage being paid by the ever increasingly wealthy top 1% isn't a burden since they are, as you so eloquently put it, still rich enough to hoard their billions like Scrooge McDuck.
  4. What is not being ignored by the press? Evidence is not being not ignored, because there isn’t any.
  5. Donald Trump literally declares to the entire country that he was doing exactly that..... but it’s Pelosi’s fault? You guys are delusional.
  6. "In the film, released on Friday, the former New York mayor and current personal attorney to Donald Trump is seen reaching into his trousers and apparently touching his genitals while reclining on a bed in the presence of the actor playing Borat’s daughter, who is posing as a TV journalist.... Giuliani continued: “I only later realised it must have been Sacha Baron Cohen. I thought about all the people he previously fooled and I felt good about myself because he didn’t get me.”" Didn't get him. Riiiiiight
  7. Great. Right now the Republican Party is a dog being wagged by its extremist tail. If it the became less radical it would be better equipped to compete for the popular vote. I fail to see how any of this is not a win.
  8. What are you talking about? Specifically. With evidence.
  9. A) Doesn't matter if some Dems think it's better because it helps them. If it's fairer it's fairer. Republicans bring this out all the time, like with Puerto Rico for instance. 'Dems only want Puerto Rico to have the vote because it helps them, not because it's the right thing to do'. But it is the right thing to do, and Reps only oppose it because it will hurt them. When right and wrong become a partisan issue, right is still right and wrong is still wrong. The side that is wrong doesn't get to win by pointing out that the side who are right are also in line for a partisan advantage. B ) We've been talking about it here long before the 2016 election, so you are simply wrong to doubt. So you disagree with every Republican argument against the popular vote. You think the popular vote will encourage better turnout, better campaigning and fairer representation... but you are against it because it will be easier for Democrats to win?
  10. Why should we not forget him? Unlike the culpable members of the Trump clan he will not help run the election campaign, he will not be offered a nepotistic position in the White House, he will not oversee a fraudulent charity on behalf of the president, and he will not be a director of the President's businesses.
  11. You post the statistic as if it has any relevance to, let alone support for, your 'explanation'.
  12. Doesn't matter either way, I'd still think the popular vote is better. To be honest, since you seem to be saying the EC discourages people from voting simply because it exists, that would be another good reason for it not to exist, right?
  13. Why? The self identified conservatives will be against the Dems no matter what. The moderates would not necessarily be swayed by any shenanigans, since you have just so eloquently explained why there is nothing at all wrong with a ruling party doing anything that is constitutionally allowed.
  14. Is that why you’ve won the popular vote twice in the last 30 years?
  15. That's not the same hypocrisy. If he'd blocked Republicans from doing the same thing, argued it was against the will of the people for them to do it then did it himself that would be the same hypocrisy. But it isn't. Regardless, I hope we can assume you would have zero complaints and see nothing at all wrong with Biden and a Dem Senate expanding the Supreme Court until it has a liberal majority again, if such a thing came to pass?
  16. As I mentioned elsewhere, they're arguing that the President's pronouncements don't make policy, the pronouncements of his staff make policy. Exactly what the Deep State would say...

    Prepping?

Why does a true believer want to kill me?
  18. The only thing that makes me think the information might be true (though Rudy was surely fed Hunter's emails by Russian hackers, not a blind computer repair shop conspiracy theorist) is how weak and irrelevant the dirt is. For all the fanfare there is nothing they've released that reflects badly on Joe Biden, much less is evidence of actual corruption or misbehaviour. If it was all fake couldn't they have invented something punchier?
  19. I'm not sure you're in a position to talk about being played right now.
  20. Then why are you his number one cheerleader in this forum?
  21. The property that the shop owner had given to the FBI?
