    Gallatin, TN. I haven't lived there since 1981 but I still go home to see the mother unit occasionally. Don't think I'd ever want to move back.

    I got to agree on this one. Our industry is huge, but it always amazes me how often I run into people I knew or someone I knew knows of them. The A&P biz is a tiny world and you don't want a reputation following you. Good luck and stay cool. Yes sir, no sir, then...c-ya later. ht

    We had a guy about that size show up at Palatka many years ago. Mad Dog was his TM and he's about your size, Tink. The passenger walked them off the tailgate of the Caribou and Mad Dog's feet never touched the airplane floor. Quite the sight to see.

    My work computer is a Dell and the battery IS one of the recalled ones. So, the battery is out and I can only use A/C power. Of course, being a Government computer, it could take a year to actually get a new battery into my hands. Arghhhh.

    You know that big orange "Danger" label on your rig? The one that says you could be hurt or seriously killed? Well Scotty used to jump a big orange canopy with that label on the bottom skin. Usually didn't get it aired out till around 12-1400 feet. I remember his shouting match in teh peas at Palatka when Bob L. tried to take one lower than him. Those were the days, eh Scotty?     woah...that's harsh. Really, when you're hurtling toward the planet, any kiss is a good kiss. Can't count the number of kiss passes I've done. Girls, guys, tandem masters, tandem passengers (yes, my mom). Hell even an AFF-I after the student deployed. My favorite though was when I kissed my wife, Kelicopter after MadJohn married us in freefall. Thanks MadJohn. It's all good!

    We had TONS of those jumping at Burning Man a few years ago. I remember climbing to altitude in the King Air and at 3-4000' we still weren't even with the tops of some of them. Makes you pick your landing spot very carefully

    I packed myself a lineover (on demo gear) on jump 175. That was 1989. Haven't had a cutaway since.
