Angels & Demons was GREAT!!!!!!... picked up a copy at the airport on my way somewhere... I especially liked it since it starts out with the worlds LARGEST Vertical Wind Tunnel & people flying!!!! thanks Dan Brown for the Industry plug! trying to read Deception Point now.... nasa satellite, arctic, scientific coverup, blah blah... having a hard time keeping interested in this one.....

It's a fabulous story that I didn't read until a few months ago! and I'm very happy to pay for movie tix for anything Ron Howard or Tom Hanks are deeply involved in... this one makes it a double whammy! Already planned my entire day Friday around it! 2 hour spa massage, lunch & a movie! Can't wait!

Funny I suppose.. I don't recall my ex husband doing any of those things either really! Now the 2nd time around I have been married 8 years and my hubby can claim several of those as his techniques.. but I still sent him the list too... not only to be proud of doing the things he already does but to maybe inspire additional tokens of love! Too much of a good thing.. is JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT!

This was originally aimed at men for their women, but I find most of the suggestions work well both ways! Hope this inspires someone 1. Leave a note under her windshield wiper at work. 2. Give her a flower for each month you have been together. 3. Give her a facial massage. 4. Take her to the ballet or theatre. 5. Plan an overnight at a bed & breakfast. 6. Get a babysitter every friday. 7. Give your mate a romantic basket - with bubble bath, massage oil, chocolates, etc. 8. Give her a key with a note that says, "You have the key to my heart" or, "You're the key to my happiness." 9. Send flowers to your sweetie's workplace. 10. If you go on a business trip for an extended period of time, send your mate cards timed to arrive the beginning, middle, and end of your trip. 11. Pack "I love you" notes in her suitcase or lunchbox. 12. Leave a rose on the windshield. 13. Give her 10 red roses and 2 white ones in the middle with a note that reads "You will never stand alone." 14. Complain less, compliment more. 15. Praise her in front of people. 16. Wake up every morning fifteen minutes early to cuddle with each other. 17. Make your wife breakfast in bed. 18. Do her chores for a week. 19. Wash her car. 20. Always look into her eyes when she's talking to you. 21. Give a map - "I can never be lost with you around." 22. Tell her that she is the best thing that has ever happened to you in your entire life. 37. Renew your wedding vows. 38. Learn to have the last word in arguments, "I'm sorry." 39. Make a list of 100 reasons why you love your wife. 40. Create a jar filled with "Love Coupons." Make the coupons redeemable for hugs, kisses, back rubs or any number of special favors. Give the jar to your lover and let him/her redeem the coupons over time. 41. If your partner is stressed out, let her take a nap and keep all distractions and emergencies away during that time. 42. Talk about your dreams together and where you two are going in life. 43. Say, "You mean the world to me." 44. Call your wife right now to say "I Love You." 45. Catch her eyes in a crowd and wink. 46. Place a card on her steering wheel that says "You drive me crazy!" 47. Unplug the TV and leave a card on top that says "Turn me on instead." 48. Write a personalized love story and have it bound. 49. Pray over dinner every night. 50. Say, "I Love you" three times a day for the rest of your life.

Kids are the reason I have a landline... every month I look at my 3 bills (Cingular, BellSo & At&T) and think.. I should get rid of something... but then I imagine kids friends calling our cell phones all the time & I think... no way.. totally worth it.

I was asking where would you go and what would you do? not how will you get there! but for discussion sake... I could leave from any airport in TN, Western North Carolina, North Georgia, Kentucky, Chicago, Indiana or Ohio... hmm and for that matter.. from Daytona or Orlando

Just got home from Flyaway Pigeon Forge where we had a great big Vegas/Pigeon Forge reunion of sorts! It was a great TPM anniversary to get to spend part of it with K8 too, and Lexi of course! Paige.. Rosa.. wish you were here! Here's to another year of great inductions, amazing new friends & wild times! HUGS Tomorrow the vegas rats are coming over to stay the night here.. I'll try to get K8 in chat Tues morning or somethin'!!

Consider it done! John is actually en route right now to the tunnel (early day!) and they are taking the old net out and getting ready to put up the new net in a few days. This will be fun, if the opportunity arises to fly without any net at all, I"M TOTALLY IN!

AAC is still working on completing the tunnel to original specs, and it did not close down this winter, after all. It's open under the same basic conditions as it has since 2004, 48 hours advanced reservations, $10 per minute cash only, and minimal staff. DC & AAC are quite a distance from eachother.. that's one HECK of a detour!

adventure, fun, comraderie, bonding... just a few things taking a trip can do for you, as opposed to staying home..
