I'm sitting in a hotel about 8 miles from the site of the above noted twenty way. The field that Swain put me onto (across the street from the airport) is now a sub division. It was my 20th jump and my first "unpoised" exit. I remember that jumpers had to nail a small patch of grass near the tarmac due to crops growing nearby. I guess he didn't think I could get there, so he flew me over a bare field and told me to land in the middle. Another note. Hotel clerk sees my plate (SKY DIV) and offers a free room for a jump. I guess I'll be calling on Aggieland for help someday soon.

Well since I'm still here at school taking finals (and will be until the 23rd ), after a harsh reality, I can't come out there this year, especially since I need to save money for Acapulco for spring break this year. You might want to check this. I "believe" it changed a couple of years ago where any exit >3000' (tandem, S/L, IAD) counted towards wings. O? And my 2k hop and pop last week wouldn't? Please expand on this comment During my career I did 26 static lines for various reasons. Only 7 were student jumps. The rest were fun jumping a t-10 testing the winds for students and such. USPA requires 4000 FREEFALLS. Russell M. Webb D 7014 Attorney at Law 713 385 5676 https://www.tdcparole.com

I made my 3000th freefall during the Eloy Boogie in 2002. This year I'll be making my 4000th freefall there. Here's a VIDEO of that jump. Maybe I'll do a balloon jump, but I already have a couple of those. (Not for over twenty years,though) Any ideas?

Well, as a criminal defense attorney father of a child who teaches school, I can tell you that WAY too many tax dollars are being spent (at least in Texas) to keep people with socially unacceptable habits locked up. The reason I mention the school teacher child is because that girl's salary is as LOW as it is because of the PRISON and CRIMINAL JUSTICE budget being spent on seeking out and arresting users and keeping people in prison who DON'T NEED TO BE THERE!!!! (See the rants on my sig link) What is the government motive in keeping pot illegal? Could it be the alcohol lobby?? Maybe the TWINKIE lobby ought to get busy. Russell M. Uh, care to expound on that? Walt Well, all I'm saying, is there are some things in life you NEVER forget. I have a list of the significant events of my life stashed somewhere, but I'll never be able to share the entire list at one time. Getting laid at the Chicken Ranch, though, was very similar to your post. The thing that really bugged me was them selling those little 8 ounce Cokes in glass bottles for 75 cents.
