We have a base club in Norway who call them self Cartoon base heroes! Spiderman Batman Superman So I guess you want to be Robin then? Here you got one I do not know if it is taken http://www.tntie.com/ashleys4jc/hb.birdman.html

Where do you have your hands when the canopy opens! I know it is hard to tell if you did something different with your hands on those two jumps. But it can be possible the wind conditions, what you did with your hands during opening, and the canopy trim. I used to jump a old Pegasus base modifyed brake settings, and it worked just fine, except from those jumps I touched the rear risers, and experienced simular openings!

So we should push those who never applyed for the number to get it now! I am sure we passed the number for awhile ago!

You guys scares me! You have a text to analyze, make up your mind, think twice before you post, and you cant because you do not have the posters personal information!??

From an outsiders look, there is some interesting theory/ "evidence" he came up with! If there is just a little bit of truth in what he is describing as facts, it should at least make you think twice, before you call him an .......?! I think every society should have some outsider who keep an eye with the system! The hawks just seem to be to powerfull, and can almost do what ever they want, and get away with it. Never ever admit a mistake! never ever try to explain in details, it will just hurt you at the end! And for sure get the small outsider group in the flock, so you can please the important large majority!

Not only the person, also the condition, updraft, downdraft, in the wall have alot influence when it comes to get started, and how fast you get going! Same for tracking! It is getting so complicated as the airpressure, temperature differences from below to upstairs, how long the tallus is, which way the wind comes, from the front up tallus, from the side etc etc. It is so many variables, so if you are able to make a theory scale, it will not make any useful data for your flight! Not to forget, what kind of wing suit flyer you are. Some are good at floating (flying at stall point), and some is good at speed (Lukas the fastest mother fucker in the walley) So I would say it is som hard to find any references that can be used except from your self. Only by experience you will know if you will be able to fly from the place you choose, even then you can get lost! Jumping the same object in different conditions for 100 jumps with a GPS can give you some values to make a scale?

Where is the hall of shame? Should be someplace we can look them up before we start guiding people!? Still bad weather, and starting to become a more internet baser at the time!

Have a good one tonight! cya

I finely found out how to make better clips, and not to big files! Edited the Gridset & Shanghai a little!

Just made some few clips! www.friluftslek.no

I totally agree! Potato bridge is a much better place to start out, learn exits, canopy controll etc... If you want to learn big wall jumping, you need to know you have done your homework before you attend a fjc in Norway! Some of the rules in Kjerag To jump with Stavanger B.A.S.E. Klubb at Kjerag and Smellveggen. You must have completed at least 250 skydives with 20 jumps within the last 6 months. If you have less than 15 B.A.S.E. jumps, you must follow the "one day" B.A.S.E. course before jumping (This is for your own safety!). Remember that good tracking skills are needed to perform safe jumps from Kjerag and are therefore required. Also good ability to recover after a bad exit! What I am more concerned about is the pillow you get if you take a course from the potato bridge! You are able to have 100-150 skydives in 3 months, fjc at potato bridge and then go for big walls! Does that make you a safe stand alone big wall jumper? Big walls are dangerous!
-
If you want to learn big wall jumping, you go for Kjerag! If you want to learn slider down and sub terminal jumping, you go for the "potato" bridge! Kjerag have a excellent big wall jumping course, but you do not learn so much about slider down/sub terminal jumping!

Hans is one of the guys you see in the movie, use elastic (rubber) bands from shoe to shoe innside the pants, and rubberbands from hiprings to the arms innside the jacket. this system makes more surface between your legs and under you arms, also gives you less drag from clothing. It is a little complicated system, and narrow your movements allitle. And now to our Q! Give Hans a mail, he is the expert on this area! (Making his degree on airflow)

I know the choice is done in USA, and respect that, but you know USA have to deal with lost relations for years after Bush is finished! Give some more shit around, and one by one will turn the back to you, and search for safer options! More terrorists will be created the longer it takes to turn middle east in to a safe free place! For every day with war in Irak, lost civillian lifes, new dangerous terrorists will creates. Maybe USA will loose their trade connections to? China with Asia is growing, europe is still improving, and when all comes to all, it is all about power, oil, marked who it is smart to cooperate with. Peace!

After 4 more years with a Texas cowboy, I would guess Hillary will enter the trone She seems to be a pretty smart lady, and she have runned the white house for 8 years before :-) She is the one, who will be able to build the relations, to other countries USA lost during 8 years with Bush. God save you all!

I found this Loop release system interesting for wing suit flyers! Wing suits have increased the possibility for a pilot chute delay, and pilot chute error! And I did really hope there where some more jumpers, who would like to put their thoughts in to this thread! Flying a wingsuit at 25m vertical speed sec, pull your pilot chute at 150m, after one sec you should know if something is happening on your back, if not you have time to pull the handle, and open the container with your loop release system. The airflow and shaking from side to side will throw your pack job out, and hopefully open before impact. If you just had a pilot chute delay, the movement of going for the handle, would help the pilot chute in to the air, and pull the packjob out. If you have a pilot chute error, it would maybe save your life having a loop release system. When it comes to a back protection plate for saving your back, it should not be to much work for the designers, to implant one in the back of the rig. The protection plates is already out in the marked, intergreated in the extreme ski/paraglider sacks. Some few thougts about the design, should be long enough to protect the lower part of back, attached to the leg straps, and of course flexibility for full movement! I am going to buy myself a safety jacket, but that is something I do not will bring along for my big wall long hikes. Would like to hear some thoughts from other jumpers, maybe the manufacturers would listening, put some efforts in to it, and make some new safety options for us.

I did send a mail to BR, CR and Vertigo last year about the same issue! I know Tod from BR have worked on the system, and also Marty did look at it to! I have no information how far they have come to develop a system like that. Would like to hear an update how close they are to add it like an option! I did also ask for a intergreated back protection plate, like you have in a extreme ski/snowboard sack. Anyone else who think this would be an good idea?

Very clever answer! And american history is like a shining glory? No mistakes at all?

What do you feel about europeans in general, is so against Bush, and his foreign politics? Why do you think they are? Does it matter at all? Just wondering!

Dont worry! Just deal with it! Mad Dog Florida 1994

Both jumpers are wearing Phoenix Fly Pants!
-
I have used smoke pants for 2 years now. But I am sorry to tell, I left my smoke pants in Kjerag at the harbour, becouse I know I will never jump them anymore, after having tested the Phoenix Fly Pants. With the fly pants i do have greater horisontal speed, and suffignent better lift. It is for sure a new step in to horizon! Try them and you will never ever think twice about what you will jump in the future! Importent to know is they are very powerfull, and I did lend my pair with jacket out to some experienced skydivers, they came down with huge smiles on their faces, and wanted to order right away. But also some less experienced skydivers like 100-150 jumps tried them to, and had some stabillity problems. One was in flatspinn twice, and had to go in to a ball position to recover!!!! Pics you will find at the Heliboogie pictures post page 3. It is from me and Atle´s little battle from nr 5
