  1. ...you guys are so good to me. Always thinking of the other person instead of yourselves. You're right - For us it's always been about helping others - we want nothing for ourselves "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy
  2. It drives me crazy if my hands are sticky or dirty. The thought of being sticky all over my body sends shivers up my spine, and not it a good way. Well that is the reason we're here to lick it off We shouldn't have to explain this to you ! "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

  4. I got it to work. Instead of copying and pasting the short cut from the page where all the documents are listed, I actually opened the document (no you don't have to join BPA - I'm not a member) and once the PDF document was open I copied the address from there. The basic issue is that there is spaces in the address. "http://www.bpa.org.uk/forms/docs/Form 215 - BPA Reserve Sealing Method.doc" is what I put the mark up URL codes around. http://www.bpa.org.uk/forms/docs/Form 215 - BPA Reserve Sealing Method.doc "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy
  5. here's the link to the instructions on their website. http://www.boneheadcomposites.com/baking.htm MINDWARP LINER BAKING INSTRUCTIONS Thank-you for choosing the MINDWARP Open-Faced helmet. Please read these steps carefully BEFORE fitting your new helmet. The MINDWARP Basics The liner is made up of three sections of a thermo-formable foam, which when heated will soften and can be molded during the cooling process. Preheat oven to 200 Fahrenheit or 80 centigrade. Place the helmet with liner, on a piece of cardboard, in the center of the oven. Make sure the helmet is not touching any sides of the oven. TURN OFF THE OVEN Leave the helmet in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the heat permeates the helmet making it more flexible. Remove the helmet, AND THE CARDBOARD, and place the helmet on your head. Using a towel or pot holders apply pressure at the ears, pushing the helmet down and towards the ears. Hold the helmet in this position until the helmet cools and becomes less flexible. Approximately 10 minutes REMOVE THE CARDBOARD FROM THE OVEN! The procedure above can be repeated for a custom fit. 6. Just say that you've accepted another opportunity Thank them for the experience of working with them and that you've enjoyed your time with them. Keep it very short and sweet. Do not say why you are leaving other than to pursue a new opportunity. "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy
  7. Having limited their prayers to Christian prayers and finding out that these prayers were ineffective, I take this to mean that Christian prayers do not work. Now we need to do studies to see which religion's prayers do work. Once we narrowed it down we'll finally know which religion is the one true religion. Finally!

  12. well, the swoop alarm was the main reason i was interested in one. has anyone more info on this change? Confirmed by L&B by email received 3/25/2006: The Viso will have no audible functions. The best combination is to have the Viso on the hand and an Optima in the ear. The Optima has some very nice features for Guided Swoop. See http://www.l-and-b.dk/optima.html Best regards, Mads Larsen LARSEN & BRUSGAARD --- Can't argue with him - his statement makes good sense.
  13. Glad to hear from another person that doesn't hunt or eat meat. Do they actually let you live in Texas I do live in Texas. As for eating meat, I eat what is correctly part of the food chain. I have been through this before. Deer, cows, pigs eat grass, they can extract the chlorophyll from the plants. Plants make their own by photosynthesis. Eating dog, bears or another carnivore is not natural. Do I hunt? Hell no!!! If I was starving and had not other choice I would. But to just go out and shoot an animal for pleasure one has to be an asshole. , Interesting definition of the food chain. You only eat things that only eat plants. Seals eat fish. Have you ever eaten fish or anything that eats fish? "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

  15. Why would any body be against it? Its not like seals are endangered, might as well have a stop killing cows petition. "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

  18. The answer here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Street_sign ... Typefaces The typefaces predominantly used on signs in the U.S. and Canada are the FHWA alphabet series (Series B through Series F and Series E Modified). Details of letter shape and spacing for these alphabet series are given in "Standard Alphabets for Traffic Control Devices," first published by the Bureau of Public Roads (BPR) in 1945 and subsequently updated by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). It is now part of Standard Highway Signs (SHS), the companion volume to the MUTCD which gives full design details for signfaces. Initially, all of the alphabet series consisted of uppercase letters and digits only, although lowercase extensions were provided for each alphabet series in a 2002 revision of SHS. Current Series B through Series F evolved from identically named alphabet series which were introduced in 1927. Straight-stroke letters in the 1927 series were substantially similar to their modern equivalents, but unrounded glyphs were used for letters such as B, C, D, etc., to permit more uniform fabrication of signs by illiterate painters. Various state highway departments and the federal BPR experimented with rounded versions of these letters in the following two decades. The modern, rounded alphabet series were finally standardised in 1945 after rounded versions of some letters (with widths loosely appropriate for Series C or D) were specified as an option in the 1935 MUTCD and draft versions of the new typefaces had been used in 1942 for guide signs on the newly constructed Pentagon road network. The mixed-case alphabet now called Series E Modified, which is the standard for destination legend on freeway guide signs, originally existed in two parts: an all-uppercase Series E Modified, which was essentially similar to Series E except for a larger stroke width, and a lowercase-only alphabet. Both parts were developed by the California Division of Highways (now Caltrans) for use on freeways in 1948-50. Initially the Division used all-uppercase Series E Modified for button-reflectorized letters on ground-mounted signs and mixed-case legend (lowercase letters with Series D capitals) for externally illuminated overhead guide signs. Several Eastern turnpike authorities blended all-uppercase Series E Modified with the lowercase alphabet for destination legends on their guide signs. Eventually this combination was accepted for destination legend in the first manual for signing Interstate highways, which was published in 1958 by the American Association of State Highway Officials (AASHO) and adopted as the national standard by the BPR. [edit] Uses of Non-FHWA Typefaces The National Park Service uses Clarendon, a serif typeface, for guide signage (typically, but not always, on a brown background); some states also use Clarendon for recreational signage. Georgia, in the past, used uppercase Series D with a custom lowercase alphabet on its freeway guide signs; the most distinctive feature of this typeface is the lack of a dot on lowercase 'i' and 'j'.[1] More recent installations appear to include the dots.[2] A new typeface family titled "Clearview" has been developed by U.S. researchers in recent years to provide improved legibility, and is currently permitted for light legend on dark backgrounds under FHWA interim approval. Thus far, Clearview has only seen widespread use by state departments of transportation in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Texas. It is common for local governments, airport authorities, and contractors to fabricate traffic signs using typefaces other than the FHWA series; Arial and Helvetica are common choices. ... 19. Well if I was dying and needing a organ transplant and the only organ available was one harvested from an inmate, I'll take the organ thank you very much. If China is finding a way to offset the costs of prison system so be it. Maybe we should all consider this. It might give us some incentive to get prisoners through the "death sentence" system faster. This having people on death row for 20 years is nuts. Let's harvest their organs while their still young enough to be useful !

  24. So if I type the name of an advertiser, it gets linkified and links to the ad? Icon Performance Designs Cypres 2 No, apparently only Icon. Very weird. Maybe it's a new advertising strategy that HH is experimenting with. Must be, happens to the word aerodyne too, I typed it all lower case. I posted a question in errors and bug reports. Unfortunately the word icon is a thing other than a rig, as in my post above. "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy
