Thanks for this. I have been wondering about the GoPro ever since I first heard about it. I now feel like I have a good understanding of both the pros and cons of this thing. Your review will let me buy one in comfort knowing that it will be appropriate for my needs. Thanks again! Google "collaborative divorce" and find lawyers that are willing to work with you and not pursue an adversarial process. In my province there is a group called The Collaborative Law Society, there may be one in your area too. This is also a source of lawyers that are willing to approach divorce in a reasonable manner. Basically these people will help you put into legal terms what you and your spouse have already agreed to and make sure that all the bases are covered. Much easier and cheaper than the adversarial process. "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

Reading the whole post: I believe he was using humor... If I was wrong... Sorry. I didn't believe that someone with a C licence and over 500 jumps really believed "required to initiate hook turns at 50' at Lodi" "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

Never got more than a hearty Thank You, if that. "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

I beg to differ. Check the route picture again... it's not a "360 hook turn initiated at 50'", it's a LOOP. I think its an inside "loop" because the CNN graphic does not show the twist required for ending the "outside" loop, and you have to start an "outside" loop upside down. I have attached pics of both "inside" and "outside" loops for comparison. "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

Watching the video of what actually happened, she makes a rather low turn to avoid the highway and hits the pole. The reporter talks about the correct route being in the opposite direction and shows the attached graphic, which looks rather simplistic. My guess is that this is like all other news reports about skydiving accidents - not completely accurate. If you're too busy to sing... you're TOO busy! Learning how to sing better is part of what happens when you're a Barbershopper. Find a local chapter and go visit on their practise night. You might have fun, and it costs you nothing to go check it out. http://www.barbershop.org/ "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

I sing in a Barbershop Quartet and for years I have had fun on February 14th delivering Singing Valentines. Obviously I can't be every where to do this but fortunately the Barbershop Harmony Society as set up a web page to help you locate a quartet that can do this for you www.singingvalentines.com I've sung in homes, restaurants, offices, stores, medical centers, machine shops, warehouses, even the photo-developing center at a WalMart. It's a blast! "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

Check out this document, http://www.bigairsportz.com/pdf/bas-sizingchart.pdf There is a great section starting on page 7 titled "Essential Maneuvers" Practising these will help bring more fun to flying the 175 and improve your skills so you can safely downsize. More info with videos: http://www.terrafugia.com/mediaarchive.html Apparently a test flight is "scheduled" in February "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

And, while I am at it... Should the first (headline) article also be listed as the third article - see attached. Don't you hate picky people "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

I think the two latest articles, "An Insiders View of Team X" and "Canopy Formation Part II" would be a whole lot easier to read if they were formatted better. The use of paragraphs would be a good start I expect this was caused by a error at the time of posting. I can't imagine anyone actually writes an article as one long paragraph. this thread about them is fairly recent. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3403752#3403752 At least one welll respecte rigger is using one and has done some testing versus another electronic altimeter. There will be no Nativity Scene in the capital this year! The Supreme Court has ruled that there cannot be a Nativity Scene in the capital this Christmas season. This isn't for any religious reason, they simply have not been able to find Three Wise Men in the nation's capital, nor could they find a virgin. P.S. There was no problem finding enough asses to fill the stable. "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy
