I couldn't find the CD. But I did find this page with a free download of the driver. Just choose one of the mirrors on the right hand side. Might work. http://drivers.softpedia.com/progDownload/Logitech-WingMan-Extreme-Digital-460-Download-760.html "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

Uh.. you do know there are these things called parachutes.... they keep your fat ass from hitting the ground or water at freeall speeds You should really try those sometime Jeannie Jeannie Jeannie tsk tsk tsk. Yer overlooking the reason I was forced to quit jumping.......neurological problems with my arms. Pulling wasnt an option anymore. My last 4 openings were all at 1500 or below bcause of it. ok how about this... you can wear my stylemaster with the Papillion... a good set of LPU's... we go out of the otter over MacGregor.... two way.. and I will pull your ripcord for ya I will jump my old B-4 with the PC MKII....and the 24' belly wart for a reserve... you can use the belly wart with the 26' lopo... I remember those canopies, having packed both of them one year. Here's a pic, I think its your pap. How much will you spend on Valentine's this year ??
IanHarrop replied to stitch's topic in The Bonfire
I have been a Barbershopper for over 25 years and one of the fun things to is to go sing for people on Valentines Day. I've sung at hospitals, shopping malls, restaurants, dentist's offices, factories, offices... name a place and either I have, or I know, someone that has sung in a like situation. The more public the better. Once you sing for one woman in the crowd its fun to listen for the quiet comments many of the other women are making about their significant others and their low expectations for what they will be getting. Of course there was that one very large mechanic that did not look like he enjoyed me singing to him in front of all his buddies but I am sure his wife enjoyed embarrassing him... So here is the shameless plug, Singing Valentines are available all over Canada and the USA. You can get four guys in outfits to show up and sing, usually for pretty cheap, in lots of places. If you are really cheap there is some quartet will do it over the phone (pretty cheesy huh?) Singing Valentines is a program supported by The Barbershop Harmony Society Hit the Singing Valentines link and use the Quartet Locator function you too can have 4 guys show up and sing for your loved one. I had a Rapid Transit System that I jumped in the early-mid 80s and I was out of the sport for quite a number of years. So when I came back to jumping in 2003 I got some very entertaining comments about the reversed handles on my RTS. Whenever some one looked at my gear and said, "That's f#@ked up", I would ask if they wanted to borrow it. Never had any takers... I only put 25 jumps on it before retiring it and getting new gear. Just bring her to the dropzone a few times and stay for the bonfire. One of the things you will quickly learn about a dropzone is this... I wouldn't have even have noticed to make these remarks if it was posted in Classified Ads section like it should be... per the forum rules Edit: Doesn't the red/white tape defeat the camo? I too believe that Jan knows the math If thats the case, then the USPA ad that this thread refers to is incorrect. "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

There seems to be a discrepancy between what people believe and the physics that Jan used. If thats the case then one of them is wrong. - Any physics/math people here that can show where Jan made a mistake? - Or is it possible that the generally accepted "truth" is not correct? From my reading of this article from Jan Meyer, I understand that level flight is not as important as avoiding "jumping up" when exiting a plane. Collision Course If this is the case, then it is important that all national skydiving organizations encourage people to know and understand reality.
