  1. Sounds like he trusted your decision. Now, when I think of it, I would either exit right after the guy, keeping him in sight or I would make a pretty long delay between our exits. But you didn't say about exit alt and how long was delay? (and of coarse his experience) What goes around, comes later.
  2. Is it my dirty imagination or the redSuit guy is "erected"? (3rd photo) What goes around, comes later.
  3. Heyman777 Jumps License In sport 4 years Nov 20, 2008, 7:23 PM Registered: Aug 15, 2008 Posts: 1 Beside THIS guy, is there any packer who's been asked to pay instead of being payed? If not - please! I say: 2008 TROLL AWARD goes to Heyman777 43 replies! WOW people What goes around, comes later.
  4. Troll accusation. This is my first. _____________________ I mean no disrespect What goes around, comes later.
  5. "why question preapproved manufacturer's size?" English isn't my native, I guess I meant something like "questioning Certified methods", for instance - we get exact amount of whisky in a bottle - nobody complaints.. So "Actual" difference, OVERHANG or overhang, doesn't affect decition safety? -please don't ask what a "decition safety" means- _________________ ok Dave, I get it :) edit: Let me clear my motive, if I choose to tryout a 139ft canopy, I wouldn't mind if it's "actually" 143 but NO, I wouldn't try it if it's "actually" 135. So far I rely on label# + jump# What goes around, comes later.
  6. They didn't? So there's possibility that we're using incorrect referrence in choosing canopy/WL? It's like 10 minutes of measuring Xs and Ys of lower fabric. (without stabilizers) Inputing data in.. say ACAD software would give you precise 3D surface of which sqft-area is auto-presented. Can't think of what I missed (I usually do) What goes around, comes later.
  7. Unless you have a custom made canopy, why would you question preapproved manufacturer's size? I guess they agreed on world standard of sizing What goes around, comes later.
  8. Landing out is dark experience I'd say: Don't land out (I'd rather basejump) on this matter, did anyone jump with GPS only? It should be scary fun to rely only on 1 device? What goes around, comes later.
  9. It becomes worth reading, this is usable in many areas - don't doubt that! BusLoad, CarLoad, DickLoad... BrainLoad.. When you pick an angle - oh yes, you suddenly get it. Just for some examples - I prefer: - mid loaded buses - low dickLoad girls - mid to high loaded canopies - strong loaded liquer - there's infinite number of defined choices I Know what I don't prefer flaming. What a surprise I've had, realising that Gforce was smaller under higher WL (shorter lines), yes it's calculatable - smaller circle, and so on What goes around, comes later.
  10. Now that's something worth debating What goes around, comes later.
  11. Being an Radio Amateur in 1877 or so, I've experienced similar attitudes among them/us. Though they were bould while installing some antennas at some crazy places. I guess people tend to feel they are special, some will not feel so until 1000 jumps, some are so special after 3 jumps, and I bet some feel SO superior just because of whatever. I like to think that we NEED those assholes so we could appreciate right guys more, in a way they deserve What goes around, comes later.
  12. Living or dying finally makes sense. Who, why, whose, when, where, how, whatever.. If I knew it, I'd ask my mother to have me born in freefall, or at least through the exit door. If it's a desease - I'm very fckng sick. What goes around, comes later.
  13. It can happen at 5K too What goes around, comes later.
  14. Looks like Smederevo (right down the Danube from Belgrade) Padinska Skela is about as close to Belgrade, but nobody was jumping there much when I was in the area.Quote You can tell it's not Smederevo 'cause you don't see small kids running around
  15. I couldn't pull with one hand two years ago. Until now I thought the non-adjusted gear was the reason why (handles to high, near neck - small force) I'm sure I pulled afront - 90 degrees of housing.. Tnx for the angle
  16. Sorry for coding, really. I had to wait 10 years to sit and chat with somebody able to grasp what I was doing before. Simply because I was ahead of a time, hence misunderstood and lonely. By saying "we're not there" I meant - your asking seems futile because most of "us" can only dream of such jumps#/Uturns# and worse - some are frightened! (not me... yet) So, it's like Billy Gates asking some corner salesmen for Wall street advice. I wish you luck but expect no good answer unless in person with your kind! __________________________________ as soon as I get my dz ur wellcome What goes around, comes later.
  17. i think your missing the point of what everyone is saying hereQuote Not everyone. There are guys who are xtremly xtreme and safe: at the same time. Who's to say I'm full of it? Let's wait some years and see. _____________________________________ meantime I don't see what he's looking for
  18. 1989., they haven't been invented a law against my way... and I've made 20% of $2.5M. - at the time, there wasn't anybody for me to discuss with... ...but there is a law today. I can't guess why Larry is interested in anybody's opignion but there's no chance WE are of ANY help to him... 'cause vr not there so why, Oh why, Larry?.. are you asking us? What goes around, comes later.
  19. ...get serious. I won't sleep until you postjump reply, alive and running _____________ look - get - do What goes around, comes later.
  20. another one. What goes around, comes later.
  21. Did she jump yet? Did she jump yet? What goes around, comes later.
  22. I bet you were back-down.. and twisted maybe, so what? You seem like a tough girl to be bruise disturbed. At first static line jump, my eyes rolled up, I think I've fainted until canopy was fully inflated. Ashamed to ask ANYBODY about it, I was waiting for 2nd jump to confirm my inability to jump at all. Can you imagine my fear of such possible discovery? Imagine my happiness seeing the earth. ahh After one or two jumps more, you'll fill your gaps and have an information overflow on perceptions _______________________________ Confidence is a feeling you have before you understand the situation What goes around, comes later.
  23. nothing out - cutaway, then reserve, that's how I've been trained to respond and that's why I use "M" word, nobody said I should "think" before EP but I did.. and I think I don't like it funny is that I've been commended: "it was for you to decide and you did good" inspite of previous and future EP What goes around, comes later.
  24. I'll widen it a bit 'cause I see some familiarity 42th jump, in a hurry to fill up the plane, I grabbed some gear, spring chute + handles so high - close to neck (!) Ripcord BOC Pulled at 3000... 1, 2, something's wrong 3, 4, NOTHING out 5, reaching for cutaway and then.. Moron is born: reaching for cutHandle I thought "since nothing out - cut away what?" (!?!) Swiched focus on reserve.. pulled - No Go! (because handle was near my neck - small arm force) that's when I've died Right hand coming to help the left - PPPULL! BANG! White out - kinda 1000+ ft (neck pain) Main is inflating (90 %) to the right TWO out Instant cutaway + left toggle. A cypress fire (observers thought) was not. The best explanation I've got so far that the loop was changed and that it was too long, kinda creating a tension knot preventing spring to deploy (elbow kick would've helped) Oh yes, I've done EP check on the plane, adjusting to handles location, that's a gooood one but the baaaad one was "to cutaway What?" -plain dumb (it was nice to return 3 cables, rip, cut and res) like POPS said - let's learn some more What goes around, comes later.
  25. Actually Gábor, I was filming 8-way at the time. Not saying that it's right... but it happens What goes around, comes later.
