Something doesn't add up there. You say that you felt like the only democrats in the state and then you complain about the so called Bubba-ist remarks your freinds and their parents made. It kind of suggest that since you were the only Democrats all these so called Bubba-ist were Republicans. However, Lincoln was a Republican that fought Democrats to end slavery. As far as I know the tallest man that ever lived was Robert Wadlow 8'11.1" (2.71.78 meters). He died 65 years ago. The guinness book of world records has not found anybody taller. I would bet I am probably older than you and I did not complain about anybody's truck being bigger than mine. But for the record no neighbor of mine has a bigger truck. What I did was simply ask the question. Do you believe that there is somebody always bigger, faster, stronger better than you? And it should be understood that question goes beyond you or me. That is for instance as of now I don't know anybody who has a truck (that is street legal) with tires bigger than 52". But if you believe there is always somebody bigger then that must mean there is somebody else out there with 54". And by that train of thought there must be somebody else out there with 56" wheels. That has been the question on my mind lately. It often seems that way, but it can't be, somebody has to be the best. It all started with body-building. Just when I thought, I was great and wonderful and that there were less than fifty or so people with better bodies than me, I went to the night of champions competition and saw hundreds competing there that night ( that had better bodies). Then I get my truck, which I never intended for it to be the biggest and baddest truck around, but it just kind of turn out that way, or so it seemed. It took about a month before I finally saw a bigger truck than mine. It stood about 4 inches taller. It wasn't a catastrophy, I could relatively match it for a few thousand $ by getting a slightly bigger lift kit. Then I found a truck forum and saw more than fifty there that were bigger and I don't mean just ones that were 3 or 4 inches bigger. I saw one that was like 1 foot and a half taller. Trucks with 52 inch tires as opposed to my 38's with 18 inch lift kits as opposed to my 8". I couldn't even make my truck that tall if I wanted to, it would probably cost $20K dollars just to get it that high and then the crappy gas mileage and engine wear would make it extremely expensive to maintain. It's not clear why you identify with Tigra's post (which didn't mention you) if it doesn't apply to you. We learn a lot by what others spontaneously deny. -- On a bigger topic, I do wish someone would explain what "I don't agree with homosexuality" means. Does that mean you don't share our opinion that Johnny Depp is totally hot? That's ok. You don't have to agree with us on that one. If that's all it is, then no. He said it was not in the best interests of the U.S. for these Middle Eastern countries to have a democracy, because he said, "80% of these people are Muslim psychos who want nothing more than to launch attacks on infidels. In other words the pretty picture that you and other liberals try to paint suggesting that the true Islam is about peace is not by any means accurate. So if you ask me there are a couple of options on the table. If these countries would outlaw Islam, then after a couple of generations of common sense, they could be worthy of a democracy. Or would could just dig in Alaska, not buy there oil and then they wouldn't have the money to pay for their Terrorism. Funny side note - at one point someone proposed treating a pistol and a dog with a "powder of sympathy", shooting the dog, and then putting the wounded dog on the ship. At noon someone in London would put some more 'powder of sympathy' on one of the dog's old bandages, and the dog on the ship would howl in sympathy - thus allowing to reset their clocks. I agree, but I think you've got it backwards. Breads, pastas, and potatoes are simple carbs - since they're usually made from refined flours which end up being chemically very similar to table sugar. Vegies, fruit, and whole grains are usually complex carbs, full of vitamins, fiber, and protein. _Am Very possible I got it backwards with the simple/complex carbs... I hadn't had my coffee when I'd posted that... Actually you both have it wrong. There are complex carbs and simple sugars. Carbs ALL turn to sugar in the end before they go to your blood. Complex carbs means your body has to work but making them sugar first. That includes bread, pasta, potatoes. Simple carbs/sugar are sugar as you get it from a sugar packet also referred to as glucose or Frutose the natural version of it that is found in fruits. Vegetables tend to have a lot of fiber in them and for that reason a large quantity of them is a small number of calories. I don't know much about whisky but I think its about as strong as vodka. Rum, vodka & Jack Daniels, I know are is the 40% alcohol range. Still there are many other factors that can be involved. Just curious where you got that from? Although its true that carnivores usually eat herbivores or omnivores, they still do eat other carnivores. Hence the terms 1st order and 2nd order carnivore. Its about biology. Chlorophyl is the main nutrient needed for life. Plants make their own by Photosynthesis. Herbivores can take it from the plants they eat. You need to ask the question of how much do you weigh? Also some people hook in and impact at 40MPH and die, others might survive at 50 MPH. Exactly how much it will take to kill one specific person is undetermined. But it is a fact, .4-.45 BAC will kill most people. This is not a matter of opinion.
