guys guys guys.... dont lead her astray just to keep her out of our great sport. Adventurechick, use your skydiving gear. a 28" pc will work, but a 32 is a bit better. make sure you dive off the bridge, not feet down, you could get a bridal wrap. and smaller canopies are better, especialy for 300' bridges. if your not open and flying by 200' then try the reserve. those are packed better. and open everytime. good luck! let us know! -SPACE-

thanks. correct. rotor induced assemetrical collapse 15 seconds after launch, 2 destroyed legs, lots of metal, moderate brain injury. 3 months in hospital, 3 weeks ICU, 5 months wheelchair, blablabla... but, now base jumping and wingsuiting again. YAY! i like the sky.

I am the tourist you are quoting homeslice, and i dont log my jumps, i stopped after about 250. so 400 is a good thought for 2 years after stopping log. man, pissing people off online is what i love doing while im recovering and cant walk, simply because it doesnt matter. so, if you had been paying attention to my profile, I AM a jump pilot, i DONT jump at Dropzones, we OWN our own aircraft, i VERY RARELY turn my cypress on if i am even useing a rig that can take one () so, why dont we all calm down around the bonfire, smoke away some weed, and feel better because it really doesnt matter. i wanted to know because the one i am USEING is 14 years old, we tested it with a old rig we just hucked out of my plane, (a rig with no one in it still descends to the LZ) and it still worked, had 6 years on the battery, and its in my mirage after a new duracell. looks brand new to me. but, maybe i wont turn it on after your message where someone ACTUALY ANSWERED MY QUESTION.

man, i feel ya, but BASE is hopeless. i give it 10 years before its illegal in all BLM, and a BASE specific rig is contraban punishable by up to 6 months first offense, not to mention urban jumping becoming as bad as NPS or worse. -SPACE-

I jump a reserve. mine has about 400 jumps on it. still works great. original lineset and all. -SPACE-
