  1. Yes!!! Yes i am!!! And it sucks!!! Looks like it's supposed to be about 65 degrees this coming Saturday though. And it's a pay week. I will definitly be at the DZ then. THEN they are talking snow the following week. http://bodypilot.bounceme.net
  2. Ok. I've made 1 tandem jump, and 2 s/l jumps. And now winter. My plan is to save $$$ and next spring (early spring) i'm getting back on the horse and getting my A license. (hell, maybe even B) lol. Anyways. Just looking at equipment. What kind of rig would be a good rig for a fresh A licensed jumper, to be able to control, and still be able to grow into? I'm about 6'0, and 195 to 200 lbs. I'm talking complete rig. Container, main, reserve, and aad. http://bodypilot.bounceme.net

  12. Well, i've only got 3 S/L jumps. And now winter. I went 2 weeks ago, and the weather was only 45 degrees... And my hands were frozen under the canopy. So, people actually jump when it's 30 degrees on the ground? http://bodypilot.bounceme.net

  16. I've heard of the movie Breakaway. But I can't find it anywhere. Anyone have any ideas on where i can find it? Also are there any other good skydiving movies? http://bodypilot.bounceme.net
  17. Say you jump from 14,000 feet... arched freefall you'll get about a minute of freefall. How much if any do you gain or lose of freefall time with a birdman suit? By the way that looks kewl as hell. http://bodypilot.bounceme.net

  19. Very good points from all. My first jump was a tandem jump. So I have experienced some freefall. I guess though, it being tandem.... My instructor was mostly doing all the work. Although I felt like I could almost naturally feel which ways to move my arms or legs in order to compensate for an unwanted turn. Maybe I'll take another tandem jump or 2 if I feel uncomfortable with my longer delays. http://bodypilot.bounceme.net
  20. I've also heard that the S/L program is out of date. What do you all think? By the way, i'm new to this forum... And i love it. All my questions answered by real people. It's great. Thanks all for the advice. http://bodypilot.bounceme.net
  21. I'm in the S/L training program. I've made 3 jumps. And from what i'm reading i've been seeing that you really don't get much freefall lessons? Is this going to hurt my skydiving skills? Should I be thinking about maybe getting into a AFF program? http://bodypilot.bounceme.net
  22. good point. Winds at different altitudes. My last jump was my 3rd jump and was static line from 3500 feet. And i remember someone say at 6000 ft. winds were 50 mph!!!! that's a little much i think http://bodypilot.bounceme.net
  23. Hey, i've got a question. Say you're 14,000 feet, you're the last to leave the aircraft.... would there be a problem with opening your chute at 12000 feet? Cause I love being under the canopy. Just listening to the nylon ripple, breathing the clean crisp air, and absorbing the beautiful views. Is there a problem with pulling at high altitudes? http://bodypilot.bounceme.net
