Is this the guy you're asking about? Joe Kittinger? He holds the record for the highest altitude skydive. 102,000 FEET!!! He said when he left the balloon it didn't even feel like he was falling. Because of the lack of air resistance. Thought he had gone above the gravitational pull. First man to break the speed of sound without an aircraft!!! http://www.stratoquest.com/default.cfm?page=5 http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/escape/skydive.html http://bodypilot.bounceme.net

That's a great site. I can't get enough of the kind of videos that just reek of adrenaline. Sweet. http://bodypilot.bounceme.net

Oh, I hear that! Been trying to jump for weeks now. To much wind and rain. Or when the weathers perfect, I have something else I have to do. http://bodypilot.bounceme.net

From what it describes here. Would skydivers be restricted under this? http://www.joink.com/homes/users/reverly/part_103.htm http://bodypilot.bounceme.net

Awesome story. My first jump was a tandem jump so I know just how you feel. I basically just relived it reading your story. Still get short of breath just thinking about it. Can't compare it to anything can ya? http://bodypilot.bounceme.net

if your not jumping for a while...

I read that decomposing bugs trapped in your canopy can deteriorate the material. -
ahh that's gotta be a good feeling. it's awesome. http://bodypilot.bounceme.net

I haven't experienced one. But i've seen video's and read stories. Would be a really helpless feeling. I was just curious if a delta position would help. http://bodypilot.bounceme.net

Would a delta position cure an uncontrollable spin? http://bodypilot.bounceme.net

How can everyone afford $150 bucks a pop for aff?

Think about it. A man who has been alive for 30 years has only been alive 10950 days. So if you were to make one skydive everyday. It would take you over 90 years of skydiving reach 34,000 dives. I need his email address. Next time I have a question.... Shew. He has seen some sh##! http://bodypilot.bounceme.net

Was just thinking that under the who's online tab... It would be cool if you could search for DZ.com users by their home dropzone. http://bodypilot.bounceme.net

If I would have been at the dropzone when I had that question. I would have asked an instructor who would have been eager to answer my question. NOBODY IS AT FAULT. http://bodypilot.bounceme.net

OK! OK!! OK!!! I'm the damn student who posted the damn question in the first place. Can we please drop the whole thing? I just asked a simple question about canopy performance. I never questioned Archways ability to make safe skydives. Archways safety record speaks for itself. The whole post got blown completely out of proportion. And the day of the skydive, every skydive went great! Everyone I knew that went up was happy, and came down much happier. I'm positive you can't be more safety conscious than Archway is. As I said before, there safety record proves that. As far as instruction at Archway, my instructors are very experienced, and very well trained. I got my answer on what the feeling was that I felt under canopy. Can we be done now. Please? http://bodypilot.bounceme.net

Solo. Man that seems so far away. I need to seriously think about switching over to AFF. That's awesome. Sounds like you were a bird in another life time. Congrats! http://bodypilot.bounceme.net -

Gonna go to the dropzone early tomorrow. On the news they were say 49 degrees and 15-25 mph winds. So i'm gonna get to the DZ as early as possible. Usually the winds are calmer in the moring.... I think. I weather permits I think I'll do 2 jumps. Wish me luck!!! PRCP!!! http://bodypilot.bounceme.net -
Quitting, it's just too dangerous.
