    THREE people broke the world record at the same location over the span of 20 minutes? Anyone care to offer a theory to explain this statistical anomaly? Maybe because of the perfect wind conditions( 3/4 m/s downwind push (6-8 knots) ),maybe because of the white sand at the end of the pond that was giving some lift ,maybe because there was a world cup going on and everybody was going for it,...then again ..maybe....     no doubt:spectre w/ dacron lines...never had any problems with it.Even when it opens faster it´s not hard, always on heading, and in the rare case of a linetwist,it´s no big deal due to the shape of the canopy... Bb wuk?? http://www.brunobrokken.com

    [maybe swooping will make it to TV screens, but I promise, the sound and sight at close range of someone getting busted up from a skydive will horrify john q public..... ] Last year at the world cup swooping in Perris, there were hundreds of competition jumps made with no serious injuries,apart from scratches,but then again ,the ground in Perris isn´t very soft...) There was an FAI controller on site (Exi) not knowing what to expect ,and I know he went home impressed,by the level of the competition and by how safe it was.     The World Air Games took place in Turkey in 1997 and in Spain in 2001.Almost all airsports were represented.Some airsports had their world championship there (like skydiving).I think the 2005 WAG are canceled.Not to be confused with the World Games:these are the wannabe olympic sports.... wuk?? http://www.brunobrokken.com

    ...(Just a thought but..... There's already a World Air Games... could that be raised to be a 3rd Olympic platform under the IOC banner (Summer, Winter, Air) ...) The platform for a sport to become Olympic is the World Games (under the patronage of the Int. Olympic comitee).People like BJ Worth and Roland Hilfiker have been trying for years to get skydiving in there.During the last 2 World Games (Finland 1997 and Japan 2001) ,Skydiving was part of it .(FS-4,Freestyle and accuracy).Next year the World Games take place in Germany,where there will also be Canopy piloting. Somebody mentioned here that trampoline is an Olympic sport,well last time(Japan 2001), it was still in the World games...so maybe there´s hope?? wuk?? http://www.brunobrokken.com
