I use dude all the time.. My sister always said it to me when I was growing up so it just kind of stuck. I normally only say it to friends. I posted in another thread last year about my skydiving goals for 2004. At that time, I had one tandem under my belt. Here's what I wrote: Earn enough money to be confident in my financial situation to start AFF in the springtime. *Did that....I started AFF in April* Finish AFF as fast as possible. *Did that......I did AFF from Thursday through Monday......that's pretty fast right?* Get my "A" License. *Pretty close......I was supposed to take my oral quiz for my A the night I broke my leg* Not Die. *I'm still here aren't I?* Not get hurt worse than I can handle easily. *Well I can't say I handled it easily, but I was able to handle it well enough that I can walk now and getting one step closer to getting back in the air* Sooo to sum up.... 62 jumps from April 2nd to August 1st. One broken ankle/leg. Great friendships made. A whole new person inside of me that I never knew was there. Hopefully in 2005 I'll be able to get back in the air and make *AT LEAST* 50 more jumps. I don't if that is possible with my financial situation right now because of my medical bills and credit cards, but the sky will always be there for me when I want to fly again. God I love this sport.

I feel ya dude. I have a bimalleolar ankle fracture back in August and I'm just now starting to go back to work and walk like a normal person. Hey Dumpster....I joined the skydiver hardware club too. I have a plate and 10 screws on my fib and 2 screws holding my tib to my ankle. It's probably going to be a little while before I am financially able to jump again, but I will jump again. After much debating of whether or not I could accept the risk, I have decided that it is definite I will jump again. It may take awhile, but the sky will always be there. I hope you guys heal fast and are back up in the air in no time! I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #102

I had a nightmare the other night that a bug flew in my room and I woke up to find myself screaming at the top of my lungs and covering my ears. I think my bug in the ear experience has messed me up. I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #102

I am way too trusting of people and someone can lie straight to my face and I would never know. I try to believe what people say because I don't want to be sad that they lied to me. There are some particular people that I know so well that it's obvious when they are lying. Then there are just a couple of people that the sound of their voice just gives it away everytime. We would call those bad liars. Normally when I'm lying about something, it's a joke and I make it look like I'm lying and the person obviously knows what I'm saying isn't true. When I do lie for real, I can bust it out and no one knows any different. My mother likes to think that she knows when I'm lying, but I can look that woman straight in the eye and lie without her ever knowing. I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #102

Someone asked me the other day if skydivers were mainly republican or democrat. I told them that skydivers don't come from just one walk of life. Many different types of people skydive, so the answer is that there are probably equal amounts of both. They said that they always thought skydivers would be demcratic.
