    heh, I'm in New Mexico, and there's only one dz in my area. Oh well. A little cactus won't keep me from jumping. One time I landed damn near dead center in the plowed dirt circle. They had to have figured out where I was going to land exactly and planted cactus shit there when I wasn't looking cause I still managed to have that junk in my canopy! wth!! ~skysprite

    Nope, doesn't feel too good either. FJC, they radio landed me right into a cactus. It was a breezy day, and I'm a newb, so they had two people out to catch me. They got into it too. Second jump I didn't land in cactus, but I go to get up and don't watch where I place my hands... cactus. That hurt way more. I've been threatened with a gift of a potted cactus for my 100th jump! If (okay, when) I land out, I always managed to find the one lone cactus. ~skysprite

    Those things are nasty. At one of the other places we used to live one of those suckers ran across the living room floor and scared my Mom half to death. The next day my Dad found a whole nest of them underneath the house. *squirms* Did I mention I hate bugs of all variety? ~skysprite

    He wasn't on my list of possible pets. I took it to work and we released it in a scrub area. Sounds like you were much calmer than I would have been. I would have screamed my head off (especially finding it in my bed of all places! eww!) then smashed the crap out of it. ~skysprite

    I grounded myself today due to winds. One load went up after that then everyone pretty much grounded themselves. Started raining (snowing sorta too), and we're supposed to have the same tomorrow. Oh well... I got 2 in today so I'm good. ~skysprite
