  1. I agree with wrongway. However it is good to hear that you are being very selective about who you are flying with. First learn your sit. Pat Works refers to this as your VRW stable. It is a good platform to always be able to return to. As you feel yourself corking in a HD position you will find it easier to return to a sit quicker than to get back to your head without either massive corking or driving around like mad. Also remember to face 90 degrees of off jumprun to ensure you dont drive into the groups before or after you. And as always your best bet is to find a GOOD COACH. Good luck and have fun BLue Skies, DJ Marvin Vertical Axi Entertainment
  2. Hopefully we will see some Demo's at the convention !!!!!! I HOPE !!!! I can't wait to see and fly one of these canopies.
  3. INFINITY !!!! I have had mine for about 1200 jumps and the only problem I have had with mine is when i get it dirty from a "bad" landing. Great riser protection, great pin protection on both the main and reserve. Yet the reserve cover is not difficult to open and close to get a good pin check. There are several other freefly friendly rigs out there, but I LOVE my Infinity. Fits great and is very comfortable to top it off!! 4. Several people have already mentioned coaching. You have mentioned 0 money for coaching. I remember feeling the same way you are, but if you take those few dollars you have to jump with and save them for a few good coach jumps you will get further MUCH quicker than you could excect. A GOOD coach jump is worth alot more airtime than the money itself could have bought in jump tickets. The greatest part is the amount of GOOD coaches out there now. (There weren't as many when I first started jumping, and even fewer before) If you insist on continueing to learn on your own. Remember to always face 90 of off jump-run. As several people have already posted you WILL have alot of movement and this will help reduce the chance of bringing you closer to those groups in freefall with you. Good Luck Blue Skies DJ
  5. I was in car sales for awhile and had a few jumpers do the same for me. Now I skydive fulltime and just want to keep the love in the sport. And if there isn't any near me, I am at least hoping for some good honest answers. So when I go back to fight for the price I better my chances in this unregulated industry. Unlike car sales, rv sales have about zero regualtion. At least if you go buy a new car you know that you will get the same MSRP from dealers in the same area. In the RV industry U have found that you can have the same RV (down to the options) and the "MSRP" can vary GREATLY from dealer to dealer. 6. thats why i asked for a sales person. I have done alot of research already and have found what I like. I am just looking for someone in the sport who is in sales. If they are close enough to me I would definitely consider buying from them (support a fellow jumper). Thanks for your advice, but already been there.
