When it feels right. If you have to question it, it's probably not the right time. When you tell one person that you are dating them exclusively. That's something that you two decide. Talk about it.

I lost my grandmother. But I did get some nice things from my husband.

Please say a thought or prayer for my Grandma.

She passed this morning at about 5:20. RIP Grandma, I will miss you. Merry Christmas everyone. -

Little update: She was admitted to the hospital on her request (after getting scared) the night before last. The end is very near. My dad flew up last night to be with her for her last hours. They have her on o2 and morphine, so I hope that she is at least in little to no pain. I called my aunt last night to see if I could just talk to her for just a second, but she was so tired. She said to tell me she loved me, thanks for calling, and tell my family she loves them. I don't think she will make it to Christmas, in fact I don't know that she will last through today. I wish I could be there to hold her hand, but I know that she has her children there with her to be by her side during that time. Thank you everyone for your PM's and thoughts here. I appreciate it. -

I will make this short. My grandma has stage 4 lung cancer. It is directly linked to smoking, which she quit doing over 17 years ago. We found out less than a year ago. She was really sick and no one knew what it was so they gave her a CAT scan, and by time they found it, it was already to late. Treatment would only delay the inevitable. She and the tumors responded well to the chemo and radiation but suddenly (this week) her condition started deteriorating very rapidly. She moved up to Portland after she was diagnosed so she could be with my Aunt, who she rarely saw. She was supposed to come back down here to be with us for Christmas, but she cannot because of her current state. I spoke with my mom earlier today and she said they weren't sure she'd make it to the end of this year. I just got off the phone with my dad. He said after running some tests today they aren't sure she will make it through this weekend. I've never heard his voice tremble like that. We spent 5 days up in Portland for Thanksgiving to be with her and I am thankful for that. I won't ever get to see her again. I guess this wasn't very short, but any thoughts you can just say to yourself would be great. I know it won't change anything, but you never know what good thoughts can do. I hope she can hang on at least until after Christmas. Thanks for reading. -
I have it. Beat it literally in less than an hour. Don't buy it.

How about just hitting the delete button?

You dream every night. You just don't always remember them.

Maybe if he was a paying premium member it wouldn't matter to all the people bitching about him stealing from a "free" website.

I "played" that game a few times when I was yonger. It was fun at the time but now it's just a stupid idea. We used to hold our palms firmly against the throat after someone made themselves hyperventilate. Out they went, but only for a few seconds. A cord around the neck? What the fuck?

I wonder if all the parody t-shirts in this month's parachutists are giving monies to the original company. If they aren't they shoud have their asses beat! Snickers, Superman, Survivor, just to name a few.

Why Grooms are not allowed to order the wedding cake
Conundrum replied to BillyVance's topic in The Bonfire
That's probably a bachelorette party cake not a cake for a wedding. It's funny nonetheless. -
You're entitled to your opinion, but I think what you said in the above is ridiculous. I suppose when your mother dies (or if she is already dead) that you don't/didn't give two shits about what she wanted to happen with her body and you just will do/did whatever you want(ed)?
-
What is your photogaphy experience?
-
I couldn't agree more, really.
-
I guess I really haven't thought about it, but you're right, everyone should. It's important to let the people who love you know what you wish to happen to you and your things when you pass. I think whatever my family and husband want to do with my body will be fine. If they want a burial so they can come visit, that's fine. If they want ashes to keep in the house, that's fine too. Now, I have a question. Who has the rights (for lack of a better word?) to carry out what method (creamation, burial) to do? Is it your parents or sppouse?

Eh, if it's moved it's moved. I expect it will be. Why do you have different feelings toward one leather and not another? Is it because we eat cows anyway so they're already dead, but we don't eat ostrich?
-
Sorry to disappoint, I can't be perfect all the time. just kidding. Anyway, so what about people who have leather couches or wear suede shoes? Do you feel the same way toward them? And it's not like I have a burning desire to wear fur or anything, but it doesn't bother me if people want to. edit: I have no idea what you're talking about.
-
That's what I meant. I buy faux because I don't want to spend the shit ton of money it costs to buy real fur.
-
Well, I take that back, I could afford it but I don't want to spend that much on a coat.

No, but I am a member. Have you thought about teaching your kids to be water safe? http://www.infantswim.com/ There's a couple of little ones who have gone through this program here, and they're amazing to watch! I've seen that before, it truly is amazing.
