Plane on a treadmill experiment on Mythbusters tonight
Conundrum replied to Conundrum's topic in The Bonfire
Of course it's possible. The wheels will just explode! -
Plane on a treadmill experiment on Mythbusters tonight

That's actually incorrect. It doesn't matter what the speed of the treadmill is, the plane will still move forward. Whether the treadmill matches the speed of the "wheels" or the "plane" doesn't really mean anything. The wheels will just spin faster is all. -

I have tried just about every lube out there and I like Pjur the best. Not sticky at all, no odor, and it lasts a long time. It's expensive but it's nice. http://www.pjur.com/

Plane on a treadmill experiment on Mythbusters tonight

It just ended. Anyone else watch? Of course, the plane took off like normal. What's funny is the pilot said he should sit there "like a brick" because the runway/treadmill would hold him in place. -
Damn. Has she tried speaking with a drug abuse counselor? Maybe talking to a professional who deals with children doing drugs could give her some good advice? In the meantime, I would not leave that kid alone for one second. I'd also take his bedroom door off the hinges and do daily searches.

How old is this kid?

My husband and I own a flight school, and I have my own vinyl cutting business.

You ignored me after the first time, but ok.

It's just odd that she didn't have any problem posting about the thousands of dollars she was paying to try and save her cat, but refuses to post how much she bought a dog for. At any rate - Nightingale: I really was just wondering so I'm not sure why you got snippy. I guess I can understand why you'd want to buy one and not rescue. I wanted to buy a boxer for a long time because I could never find them at shelters. I was lucky enough to find a boxer dedicated rescue and we ended up getting a puppy (1.5) who is wonderful. It's the luck of the draw I guess. Good luck with your new dog, you'll enjoy him.

lol, okay. I was just wondering. Not sure why you're getting offended. Any particular reason you decided to buy from a breeder and not rescue a dog?

WTH, we might as well start the Happy Birthday Sunshine thread now!

Not enough! I'm assuming a lot because I'm not getting an answer.

I had no idea you were nuts. Nah, I just like to take a beating regularly.

Nothing beats the teryaki chicken bowl from Jack In The Box. Damn you JITB for taking it away. Damn you.

Just behave yourself and everything will be just fine. That's the best you got? Pfft. Babe, I have yet to unleash my best. I'm just getting started. I'm saving that for someone that isnt so impressionable. I prefer challenges. You're quickly losing tough guy points. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted. Happy trolling.

And you feel the need to point this out for what reason? Well he IS a former moderator and knows the rules, or thinks he's still a moderator, but without all the cool tricks... Perhaps he should realize he is a FORMER moderator and stick to that game plan. Wow, for a newbie you're awfully mouthy.
